LMAO.
hopefully you get the ability to reset stats.
like ya know how you’d unlearn and retrain yourself irl. though none of us have the guts or determination for physical retraining

i dont see the hype of the mixed builds like magic/strength
i get weapon pog, but i like being able to blast you for like 200dmg with a metal ball
Vetex has stated that Wardens will be able to do damage, so if you pair full vitality with a full hard enchanted defense gear set like sunken/ iron/ possibly exiled if it transfers your looking at a 1.8k to 2.1k hp build, which would regen 18-21 per tick, pair this with a good shield and dodging and you’re basically going to be unkillable to the majority of builds. The only builds that would have an actual chance of killing you is a pure glass cannon. And rarely anyone goes a pure class cannon due to it not being viable in most other situations
EDIT: Vetex updated trello with some new info and Im gonna backtrack now and say that pure builds might be better on AO Release.
We dont see the hype of mixed weapon builds because vet didnt make then yet, conjurer/ warlock are probably gonna be cool asf
i will probably go conjurer on my ice file so I can do the funni 30% bleed bonus damage
going weapons main like a fucking CHAD
warlock or conjurer
Berserker or Juggernaut. I think I’ll want to go
Vitality: 25%
Magic: 0%
Strength: 75%
Weapons: 0%
or something similar. Gonna play AO without ever touching a spell (probably until Apoc Bringer comes out)
The real meta is not spending stat points.
the Cryo grindset
Oskar (Light/Water or Lightning?/Ice/Lunar/ Gravity or Pressure) (magic/str 150/50)
Alecia (Plasma) (magic) (maybe change to another name)

Lilith (Acid) (magic)
Linsey (Wood) (magic/str 150/50)
Adria (Wind) (magic/weapons)
Andrew (Lightning) (magic)
Keanu (Sand) (magic/str 125/75)
Alvera (Paper) (change to ice and new name, still female btw)
Mark (Iron) (magic/vitality 150/50)
Malorie (Water) (magic)

my current plans so far (also sorry for the giant wall of text and i likely will make more files and builds)
that’s a lot of files.
so you would need
5 accounts
with 1 of them having a gamepass
man where do yall get yo freetime, i want some
Majority of people are gonna go Conjurer, the meta is probably going to be one of the 3 Hybrid Vitality Builds, with maybe Mage being popular amongst pvpers aswell.
On my main file, I’m going Warlock.
builds focused on freezing people then breaking it will be very meta
Well again, I’m only investing 200 in the weapons stat, as I’m mainly a warlock. So ice magic would do much more damage than an ice weapon. Plus, ice attacks do 25% more damage to soaked targets, and I’d like to capitalize on that.
Shoot I still have no likes
EXACTLY BRUH, i don’t think people realize that you have to put a good amount of stat points into magic to even GET a second magic, if you don’t have at least half or more stat points into magic, forget about even getting a second magic. Tbh, if you’re going a magic build, just go full mage. Vitality is just shit because armor, not completely shit but not worth it over second magics and weapons, and why put stat points into magic without weapons being arcanium yet, or at least no confirmed yet. Like bruh don’t take the risk.
THIS IS A THEORY - you will only be able to get ancient magics as a full mage I jus don’t think vetex will allow weapon-magic or fist-magic mains to get ancient magics alongside godly fighting styles…
I’m going full mage for my first file, fire. Then conjurer for my second. Full fighting style for my third. paladin for my pvp file, fourth, not THAT much into vitality. Magic-fist for my fifth. and Full weapons in my sixth. EZ
iirc you get 2 stat points per level, so considering that getting even a single Lost magic takes 300 levels worth of using your stat points entirely on magic. so yea I think your theory is probably gunna be correct, n Ancient magics will be mage-exclusive
It also says “hybrid builds get one lost magic at most” meaning they still have to invest 600 stat points into magic, and can still get only one. I was actually thinking about keeping my theory secret just so it can surprise people when ancient magics are released, but nonetheless i was gonna get every build i want… six files OP.
