It took a ton of blood and sweat to get here and this was a comparative bad year for me
Since the age cap for many official youth tournaments hosted by the IJF is 16 I’ve had to compete in the 17 and up adult category where I got outmatched by guys with far more experience and strength, didn’t manage to win gold in anything this year aside from this
I train at a club and I sign up for any tournaments (official or otherwise) whenever I can, it just looks good on my resume considering I’m flying out to university next year
