“Let’s go get some then.”
Laihme leaves.

“Bit suspicious no? Kyo reveales her loyalties to us and the syndicate just finds out? Almost as if someone’s been feeding them information while pretendin’ to be our ‘colleague’…”
“We were in a crowded tavern dumbass”
“Hmm…”

“Follower? I guess this guy was operating under someone’s orders, probably.”
“Good day my fellows! Surely I’ve missed nothing of importance!”
“I got hit with an axe before heading back to sleep, so that’s something I guess?”
“Tsk tsk tsk… And you let the person who did that push you around like that?!? See now, back in my day…”
“Yeah, yeah gramps…”
“We wont talk about it here…”
“How elden even art thou??”
@WarmWater has solved a puzzle and progressed the story…
is anyone even awake though
nope probably not but that’s neat because it makes me feel like my puzzles are harder since nobody guesses them instantly
Yeah… Sure…
(Solved “Nymph” in under 20 seconds)
You travel to Pefkos out of boredom and discover, in the location described in Aurora’s… story… a small polished wooden box containing two scraps of paper, a clearly unfinished draft of the second chapter, along with a map of what appears to be that cliffy island you remember being somewhere along the Nimbus Sea’s south border.
The Adventure of Misfortune and the Buried Artefact: Chapter 2
“Ah, nevermind… I guess it does be our treasure! Sort of… John look closely, there seems to be some kind er map and a little clue pinned to it. “Aye, For…” wonder what that could be. Per’aps some kinda code. They drew a grid on the map… I don’t recognise the island.”
John Shoe leaned over and looked at the map in great detail. “And uh… neither do I. Well, I could send it over to my brother to have a look at - he’s a Juraserva Journalist, did you know?”
“You have a brother?”
Misfortune seemed genuinely surprised, and John only slightly annoyed, “Of course I do, you haven’t heard of the legendary Journalist Jroch Shoe?”
“JROCH SHOE IS YOUR BROTHER?”
Misfortune seemed genuinely even more surprised.
“Yeah, of course he is.”
She shook off the shock that her trusted quartermaster John Shoe was brothers with the legendary Jroch, but then after the initial surprise passed, spoke in a tone of awe and absolute respect at the legendary Jroch Shoe, “No… There’s no time. I vaguely think it might be that one place down south, Tidecliff? The destroyed one. But I don’t know what the map is about… or what the clue thing means. The grid doesn’t seem to be labeled but it has an upright position marked ‘ere…”
A member of her crew passing past peered at the map, and paused for a moment to think… oh, I think it might be an… A… something grid… A- grid… no, not coming to me-”
The story cut off there suddenly, but a small author’s note was written underneath.
Author’s note
I got bored and I can’t be bothered with finishing this chapter. Here it is, buried as promised - and a picture of the map from the story to go with it. Thanks for reading! Buy the Agora!
well either it’s Tidecliff or Pillar
also where’s the picture of the map
I pick up the picture of the map mentioned in the Author’s note and take a look at it
