Congratulations on solving a puzzle!

Your group gets together and has planned a trip to Tidecliff Isle to look for an Artefact, before you all head up to the Bronze Sea. Kieth, a mysterious man supposedly in search for the location of the recently lost Pressure Curse, is in need of some crewmembers to support a ship. He’s offered to take you around the Nimbus and Bronze Seas as long as you work on his ship and… don’t murder each other in the meantime.
Some of you have already worked out that the story written by the Juraserva’s
elitereporter Aurora ‘Aurora’ Aura contains a coordinate where the main character, Misfortune, went to look for an artefact. How a wannabe Juraserva member knows the location of an artefact, you don’t know - but who knows anything about that organisation, really.
The journey to Tidecliff is slow, unexciting, but at least nobody got stabbed.

“Here you are. Tidecliff island, I prefer the breeze down here much more than the desert heat, even if I wish to be a bit further from the… Dark Sea. Good luck finding whatever you’re looking for. I’ll be waiting here on the ship.”
You reach the spot on the map, finding it to be a small pillar hanging over the vortexes below, connected to the main island by a thin bridge. The stone at the top of the pillar looks shattered as if someone blew it up with magic… an empty box lies in the rubble. Almost… empty. There’s a padded pillow in the middle of the box where it appears some marble-shaped object once existed.
Somebody had gotten to the Artefact before you.
But who could have known it was here?
