Background:
Kent Gates comes from the relatively new Gates family, who have seen a rise in wealth in recent years by studying the market to undercut competition.
Kent Gates went down the path of martial arts due to a childhood friend of his suggesting that he should at least try it. Kent Gates was intrigued at the thought, and so he spent his free time training his martial art techniques, with the help of his supportive family.
He ended up learning Thermo Fist by visiting Sameria on a business trip, meeting a renowned fighter from Masada. He also eventually learned Boxing by studying various martial artists he encountered along his journey.

Uses an upgraded type of Sailor Fist named Fishscale: Allows him to intake seawater from fresh fish. After consuming said fish he gains a kind of natural armor of fishscales. He is somewhat slow but his strikes hold a lot of power.
He was experimented on by the Order, a man who was fed an atlantean essence then stabilized with a drop of ichor, making him to be a half atlantean monstrosity. He constantly needs warding on his body or his mind will slip and he will lose his combat ability and kinda just thrash around. His necklaces have warding properties and if they are damaged he loses his mind. He has the eyes and teeth of a viperfish, white hair, and pale skin.

*Since OP mentioned that there would be no magic: I’ll ignore everything that would probably count.
She imagines herself to be some kind of ‘Royal’ figure. Quite the cocky fighter, and mostly assumes she could finish it without having to exert all of her resources. Most of her attitude comes from her thinking she is important enough to get away with anything, and that none should be infallible enough to be bellow her standards (she will fight you if she doesn’t like you).
Most of her fighting includes Kicking people (Contrary to me using Thermo, I just like its style more) and heavier hits.
One random quirk I will add on is that she’s quite terrible (or too ignorant to realize) at naming things— whenever I have option too, the skill names that i make will be based on my head-cannon for the character. Her skill names are all long and have no correlation between what happens in the move and what it’s called; the only consistent rule is that the name will always be something ‘grand’, ‘royal.

Megalomanic adventurer with an “enlightened hero” complex often speaking in middle-english prose (his entire ego is based off of Beowulf, though). Has quite the backlog of nonsensical journeys brought about by his nonsensical whims, with just as many sworn enemies as he has allies for life.
Despite imagining himself to be a hero, he’s actually quite the villain himself- though even that depends on who you ask. Nobody knows where he came from nor what his goal is (and it could assumed neither does he), but one thing anyone who’s met him can agree on is this: Abudallah Ali is an interesting character.
