what was the reason cursebeard died again?
He got very sad
Idk if even vetex really thought that through
âCursebeard is the strongest even though he lost to the gods who lost to prometheus who lost to curseless cursebeardâ

He just aged
Like, really aged
Like, really, seriously, severly aged
curse users dont age
Well uhhh Arthur did because he was like super mega extra old and he also got aging experimental curse from Chronos
Source: trust me bro
Prometheus did not lose to curseless Cursebeard in current canon, we donât know if it was a team effort to beat him or not as of right now.
Was really sad about having to put down his best friend for the last like almost 2 thousand years and ended up getting kinda injured in that fight cause he wasnât really giving it is all due to said sadness. Then he got sneak attacked by undead Zeus. Itâs not unbelievable, but it is a little lame.
Coulda just taken a sip of seawater if he was so sad
It wasnât just losing Poseidon it was everything he had built up
And remember he lost pretty much everything once because of the fracture so losing everything a second time would put anyone over the edge really
Bro could feel the call of elysium coming inside of him and just said âgg well playedâ to Acheron and logged off (maybe it was hades psyoping him)
you know normally facing your best friendâs murderer would give you a rage boost but hey ig the plot really needed cursebeard to die
Plus âTool gets rusty without workâ. It was mentioned that he had to fight using all of his power and the last time he did that was during the fight on the Olympus. Hundreds of years passed, leaving him heavily unprepared.
big dick prometheus solos the pantheon lil bro
Besides everything he lost, he also lost his future.
The main difference between Cursebeard and Peacekeeper:
My guess is that Acheron was a threat to the Cursebeardâs authority, his reign. Not just some âpeaceâ. So, when he is no longer a king and has nobody by his side, he just doesnât sees anything to fight for.
Peacekeeper on the other hand still had reasons to kill Acheron. It was almost their duty to finish what Theos started.
Just to clarify, Cursebeard didnât just lose everything he had, but also everything he will have. Assuming his role in the history and leader mindset, it is impossible for him to move on and build a new kingdom or army
We always meet changes in our life and adapt to them. But this guy spent hundreds of years without any global fails or changes, so when one arrived, his human mind was incapable of accepting it.
P.S. - I have no idea of what kind of person Cursebeard was, so all my theory is just based on his known feats and lifestyle. Vetex may change everything by adding his new lore in The War Seas. So I could be deadly wrong.
Why is it impossible heâs immortal he can wait for the dead gods to reform
Psychology. His body is immortal, but his spirit is not. No human being would do better in his shoes, unless plot armor says so.
Why is the same guy who killed the gods and was able to survive whatever psychological trauma they could inflict fold when his best friend (who can reform) died like why didnât he just run away after killing Poseidon and seek help or something
Thereâs no rule, no normal, for how people have react to losing everything, and losing the will to fight when thereâs nothing left to fight for is a pretty reasonable reaction. Sorry that he didnât act like Goku like you wanted, but calling that âplotâ or acting as if it makes 0 sense is ridiculous.
