how is scorch at the bottom

green flames

Because scorch is just exploding fire, which the same thing as explosion magic

But isnt inferno just really hot fire magic? If scorch is just explosion magic, but fire then that means that inferno is just fire magic, but hotter

I prefer the real fire curse

raw power promethean flame

so in that logic, aethereal is just light magic?

They’re way different. Glowing fire is more permanent than light magic. Once you shoot something with light, the light is instantly gone, but not with aethereal. Aethereal attacks are probably also slower, considering that they’re not stated to be really fast like light magic, and they’ll have different interactions. The light from light magic also might not move at the speed of actual light. A while ago they said magic-produced substances are different from the real thing. As for inferno, I don’t think it’ll just be hotter fire. I understand it’s blue, but on the trello, before it was removed, it was stated to be fire that could burn anything

well scorch magic is way stronger booms than explosion magic

That’s not interesting. All the other grand fire magics have something unique about them that’s not just their strength

prom - all gfc effects

darkflame - gets stronger during fights and retains said strength after, allowing you to get permanently stronger after battles

inferno - can burn anything

aethereal - its light lasts a while (?)

scorch - spells require little to no effort to cast (quite a stretch but i assume this is the case because vetex describes it as "highly combustive and dangerous)

edited it a bit

That’s not what darkflame is about. Aethereal is glowing fire. It’s not that the light lasts a while, it’s that the fire produces light over time. That’s a big stretch

anyway i’m gonna sleep

please en

en me on how darkflame works because i genuinely thought that is how it works
