I don’t remember conjurers needing hasta and slash, but since they’re dead I’m not certain.
You’re basically wasting ultimate arts and good-quality weapons with this stat spread, but I’ll leave @OnionCream be the judge of that.
Either way, it sounds an awful lot like you need some experience to figure your game out. I’m not exactly good at PVP, but I can help.
Put the forum PVP topic on watch while you’re at it, take any opportunity you have to grow and reach the semis at the very least.
Question—what’s the advantage of good-quality weapons? I’m genuinely asking here. The normal steel ones seem to function fine, and most others seem to be stat adjustments, rather than straight upgrades.
the stat adjustments aren’t striaght ugrpades but they’re often a net positive
also it’s good to spec into different stats to benefit ur build like running greenwish staff on top of lightning imbue and dex for a lot more speed, same reason why ppl use shapes on mage
I looked back at my file’s skills, they might be able to use most of the skills in-game even with just 170 weapons exception of dragon’s song (and sword step?) depending on the weapon they use but that’s pretty much all. They’ll be stuck to average/some good quality weapons so they could still be able to stick with hasta and slash while keeping optimization
Most skills depending on your weapon will most likely be around the 120 - 170 mark, though they will lose access to weapon-ult arts
As OnionCream has said, the stat adjustments are often a net positive, but other than that there’s also:
Their increased skill count.
And by proxy, access to ultimate arts.
Their unlimited tier scaling.
Weapons of Poor and Average quality have a tier scaling hard-cap.
Their unlimited skill requirements.
Weapons of Poor and Average quality can’t use skills past a certain base requirement, with average weapons only having access to 90 base requirement and below skills.
With all of these of involved, I think that Good-quality weapons are basically a must-have if you’re going to run any weapon build.
holy cerynx gear being used in a build (yes I know it’s a stand in) brings me back to when every new file during the 125 cap I’d always grind cerynx gear with my warlord and when people thought he was an unknown boss, he’s kinda been forgotten about now
