i originally read this as cazal vs neviro and i was so confused :frcryin:

i dont know a TON about either, but from what i understand nero has the nuke curse and cazal has extreme wind curse mastery. the outcome of this fight is likely dependent on nero’s mastery of apocalypse bringer. if his mastery is somewhat equal to cazal, there’s a good chance cazal just loses or is forced to run away. however, if cazal has much greater mastery than nero, nero is fried in about 17 different ways just due to the skill gap

Its a random animation he plays sometimes, maybe storing energy to his adamas gem since he always stays in mysterious places

I think Cazal would be too caught up with strategy to properly avoid the apoc curse

It might be an even fight, although I think Cazal might win. Yeah, Nero has the Curse equivalent of “Fuck You,” on top of forcing every other kingdom in the War Seas to band together just to arrest him, but Winterveil was weakened by war and had no Curses at the time of its destruction, and since he’s been arrested, his abilities with the Apocalypse Bringer Curse have probably waned over time.

Cazal’s Curse is inherently weaker (and might be one of the weaker Source Magic Curses, given that it’s just wind), but unless something in-game shows otherwise, the Seville Kingdom was thriving one day and completely nonexistent in the next one. Dude also has an Adamas Gem that can probably be used for attacking, and may as well be the avatar at Chaos at the point he’s at.

Basically, Cazal has the “Chaos’ Special Boy” advantage.
