There was that one Dragon Ball game, but I forget the name and the person who made it. I do remember that it was pretty well made for its time (Like AA) and that it was insanely popular for about four-ish~ years(?).

Ah good times.
There was this old pair of Pokémon games that the Swordburst guy made; one called Reborn and another called Destinies. Reborn had shoddy, but cute 2012 models of the Pokémon and was surprisingly in-depth, having a full set of gyms and whatnot. Oh, and it used the Gen 2 starters.
Destinies used the official art of each Pokémon, but was basically the same as Reborn other than focusing on Gen 3 Pokémon in the early game. Both of them got a DMCA way before Brick Bronze was a thing.

Genuinely so sad this one died. I loved building a base with the team and once we made our vehicles and equipment we’d ride out together to take the center or attack the other team’s main base. Haven’t played anything quite like this since. There was one game with 4 teams that’s similar but it’s still not the same.
Edit: Okay just checked the dev team’s discord apparently they started working on a sequel back in August.
