I think if selectable spawns were to be added it should be like the tavern system that was suggested a while back since that would be more immersive. But I wouldn’t mind this way either

This will create diversity in the game, with hunts being more random as you can’t just go to Ravenna to hunt a player who just joined.
It also allows for a new aesthetic every time you join.
I also just think it’s a good change overall to switch up the monotonous tone of the game after you finish the story.

I don’t understand why this isn’t a feature already my ass is tired of spawning at ravenna and my drip is always obscured by the ugly ass grey cape the game forces you to wear.

if i were to guess why spawns are in set locations, probably to match arcane adventures with the set places and to match our area to our level. But arcane odyssey doesn’t feel like it has the “every island has a level” entirely, so at the end of each sea storyline I don’t see why not have the option to spawn on alternative friendly islands with no enemies (redwake, cirrus, sailor’s lodge)

I’m just tired spawning in Ravenna. It would be flat out nice to spawn anywhere else for a change. Imagine spawning at Redwake, a place we never go back to. It would be nice to appreciate the different settings.

feel like we should restrict gravy and syndicate players to their respective islands because of being part of that group.

Otherwise great suggestion, I would love to be able to spawn at redwake.

Truly, one of my biggest gripes with Arcane Odyssey is that I will always spawn in Ravenna. If the storyline in the future demands that people spawn in Ravenna, then whatever, that’s fine. But there is no storyline quest right now, not for a very long time. Hell, I’d even take spawning at a random island instead of being able to pick. I’m tired of spawning in Ravenna, that alone makes this game so much more stale, because all I ever see is Ravenna or a ten minute boat ride.
