Yes however magic only clashes with magic in pvp rn ( I think) so if you face a weapons or fighting styles build clashing will be super unreliable also the magic im going loses a lot of clashes
Weapon projectiles tend to have weak clashing I’d most weapon projectiles lose to magic. For AoE attacks it’s the opposite though.

I think I had a misunderstanding though. I thought we were talking about type effectiveness. If that was the case, I think you’d also be wondering why metal is so good. But clashing, I’d say it doesn’t matter as much but it is still a feature of combat.
