tbf my interaction with strangers have been decently peaceful

of all the people i met, only 2 or so kill/hunted me while the rest is relatively friendly or just dont bother with me much

the highest amount of fame ive ever had is like ~100k tho, so maybe its because of that

bounty hunters are mostly egotistical twelve-year olds

deckhands are a bullshit system that either shouldnt exist or be massively reworked. i understand that it is a reward for pvp, but the reward for pvp in a game with optional pvp shouldnt just be a massive advantage over people who dont want to release their need for sustenance and sunlight to kill people for 25 hours a day.
just make the rewards titles or something and seperate deckhands from renown or seperate pve and pvp renown

Armor shouldn’t increase your health unless there is an explicit reason why, rather it should be non regening health(outside of automatic repairs within a minute out of combat)

Seriously it’s actually kinda funny how cav chest plate looks like +200 def armor out of context but gives fuck all here

Kinda hate that I need to jump players just to get rep or play meta
Which is just crash - - > shot that invalidates most agility builds with ironskin

The other fame methods are fucking slow as shit. Would deckhands be better if it was:

Done a certain part of the story, has money
And is capped at 100k fame/bounty instead of a million

I mean, if you mean mechanically, then yes, I can see what you’re getting at. If you mean in terms of personality and likability, though, Vetex would have to work HARD to get the player base to latch onto someone quite like we do with Edward.
