What happened 
I stopped after S7 because I hated S8 and S9 so much
no idea, heard the multiverse got shattered or some sht so kai sacrificed himself to fix it and jay lost his memory and got tricked into thinking the ninjas are his enemies or something
Pretty sure he comes back… tbh, I don’t think there’ve been any major permanent deaths throughout the whole series somehow
