Could curse users imbue their fighting styles or weapons?

A curse user could probs make weapons from their curse and their fighting style would most likely involve them phasing into their curse

honestly, warlock and conjurers aren’t really a thing in lore wise, more of a gameplay feature, cuz u ever imagine someone going “hey have u heard that calvus, our fair king of ravenna is a savant? crazy” anybody can prolly imbue their weapons with just training alone or shura case, he magically finds out he has magic and bam

At most, classes just serve as an easy way to show what your character focuses on in their training

I guess you’d also could refer to someone as a Paladin if the had not magic and a spirit weapon

morock used both magic (his curse) and weapons so that makes him what we consider a conjurer

I made this post before. The answer is yes, kind of. You probably can’t imbue your curse into arcanium, because arcanium rejects curses according to this post from vetex.

This could be outdated since it’s a year old.

Freedrock is a warlock and morock is a conjurer

No? Like many others above have stated, you aren’t labelled a “conjurer” or “warlock”, because those are exclusively ingame terms. If Morock was ever a boss, he’d be unable to be classed because his stats are either innate to the Promethean Fire Curse, or just not included in AO’s stat system.

It’s stupid to think that people in the AU would just assume they could never use a sword because they can read paper that contains information about other magics. (Conjurers arent real)

we can still label people in lore as a certain class based on what they use

No you can’t :skull:
Conjurers are exclusively a gameplay mechanic, they have never been and never will be included in lore

conjurers is literally just anyone who uses magic and weapons as a main part of their arsenal

are you trying to say no one uses both magic and weapons in lore?

Im pretty sure this person is just asking if curse users can imbue magic onto weapons like in game conjurers can which has been proven true by big man morock

They aren’t called that, because it’s genuinely stupid to think people who fully use magic can’t utilise other combat outputs.
“Ooooh woww!! I can use several magics… I suppose this means I can’t use my fists anymore…”

Yes, I agree Morock was a big man (6’4) (he’s single and available btw).
I would assume that Curse Users could probably channel their energy through weapons, but likely not Arcanium Weapons anymore due to recent retcons.

i literally never said that or implied it, i just said
because
a) morock uses magic, and
b) morock also uses a sword, and
c) a conjurer is someone who uses magic and weapons, then
d) morock is a conjurer

You’re using Gameplay terms that don’t apply in Lore, and when I tell you this, and show you what you’re actually saying it’s “i literally never said that” :man_facepalming:

‘They aren’t called conjurers or warlocks in the lore’. Screw you, this isn’t a lore discussion anymore.

Actually add to the topic instead of telling us that the class names aren’t used in the lore.

“kingdoms use a kind of arcanium metal”

npc response. it literally is because im telling you in lore there are no terms.

Okay, I’ll put this nice and slow for you, since you can’t understand what I’m saying.

People can use anything they want, because to the contrary of what some of you are saying, when you learn another magic, you don’t immediately forget how to use your hands in a fight.

These terms don’t exist, because they are not treated as mutually exclusive. “Conjurers” and “Warlocks” don’t exist, because in Lore, it is natural and entirely possible that you can use several forms of fighting.

vetex also says “because it’s arcanium it rejects the curse”

also that’s kinda weird why can’t they use a normal net to move it around, surely that won’t somehow absord the curse
