Also, can we please stop talking about this? I’ve made it pretty clear in the corresponding topic that I’ve realised I had forgotten what predatory design was until TheFightingLady helped me recall it.
I’ve admitted my wrong several times and I’m still getting flamed for it. Am I to be punished for eternity for having made a singular mistake that I’ve already learnt from?
To clarify further, what I meant by ‘predatory’ in that post was instead ‘inconsiderate’, but I had to make this comment during times in which I had recently received a concussion after being assaulted, temporarily killing off my vocabulary. This comment summarises my intention pretty well.

Differences exist, it’s true, but just as I should stop making hasty judgements and accept it, others should as well.
I’m not necessarily a scumbag because I want to be, maybe I don’t know any better because my culture differs from this platform’s majority, because I’m socially inept, or because I’ve never been taught that such things were necessary in the first place. Give me a chance, be patient, slowly explain things to me, teach me what I don’t know instead of throwing tomatoes at me alongside boos, and I shall reciprocate.
Respect goes both ways, this is how good communities are made.
Yes, one rotten apple spoils the rest, but the opposite is true. We just have to constantly remind one another of this instead of assuming the worst, stooping at their level, and throwing insults.

It’s not really character development, just my memories coming back.
I tend to forget the stuff that I take for granted and things need to turn out like this for me to remember them. It sucks, I probably have some issue up there given how often this occurs.

I think your passive aggressiveness in your criticism though triggers people easily. If you had voiced your original concern a bit differently, I think it would’ve paved way for a much healthier debate.
