Y’know, this smile brings up the possibility of an interesting story behind him.
He might have lost his mind, or maybe he’s just had it with people. Could he have been double-crossed, even? Dude could just hate people but generally enjoys his life. Besides, with a title that makes you feared, and living in an imposing house, who but the Magic Council would bother to approach you?
And even then, the MC might stay away from a person with a title such as that. A win for a hermit.
