Am I the wave? Because if so, I’m totally killing so many people
Case and point, magic user’s mentality
I never said I’m doing it intentionally. The force which has given me form has also irrevocably set my fate. I will live for as long as is necessary for such fate to be carried out, even if against my well, and then be struck down.
I shouldn’t expect a non-mage to understand that, however.
“Some air would be wonderful about now”
Too weak-willed to resist destiny? Can’t even make a conscious choice of changing your fate for the greater good?
Magic was indeed made to cause chaos, but you could have at least tried proving that statement wrong
If the future is as set in stone as the past, no amount of struggle may undo our chains. Just as that waves already swallowed the islands wedt of Silverhold, it is doomed to swallow Harvest island. Even if it could muster an attempt to resist it, fate is cruel. It will force it to destroy and kill ten times more, and then put it back on the same path. There is no hatred, no spite deserved by that wave. That wave deserves naught but pity and compassion. Forced to do foul misdeeds by a ruthless creator, the wave will suffer enough to see the havoc wrought by its passing, and carrying that grief and guilt will be its eternal punishment, one it will never be free off. For as long as it regrets what it was made to do, it will be worthy of forgiveness.
Though, perhaps expecting compassion and empathy from a non-mage is too much. Or will you prove me wrong?
My brother in christ just use a spirit mutation and give the finger to chaos.
