Feels like a bit of an arcane oddity, Carina has camouflage now. She’s a brown girl wearing red on a reddish-brown background. At night she’s invisible!
I noticed this too, while I was grinding her for candy. I sometimes just had to stop at night because it was so hard to tell where she was

The classic flying white eyes (also, did these things get a spawnrate buff? I killed 4 today, but before the update I only saw like one a week)
