Deepwoken question

well considering i put 3 points into will and 0 into charisma on this life i may aswell do this one, thanks for the feedback boss, and no i wasnt intending on doing anything w potions, infact i didnt even know they were a thing…lol…

i don’t really have one that comes to mind instantly since i mostly mess around w/ flame and any and all builds i make are fairly random outside standard core stats and talents

i most go lava serpent pvp wise and for pve i mostly go no attunement. i have dabbled in various forms of flame usage such as adtg (all the dead gods) and a deepfire ring for the no healing and huge burning dmg.

oh boy u are missing out on how funny and fun they can be

Look, id reccomend to try joining a guild so them can help you, instead of asking here

Id reccomend to greatly reduce that unless you want do a alchemy build

i don’t even plan the builds, i just invest in whatever will let me level up so i don’t go to the depths (i die often because skill issue)

yea i was doing that aswell but i realized i need to start not having shit stats cuz some enemies do still make me struggle (mainly because im still a bit shit), but i realized i was power 7 and i was too damn high to keep randomly putting stats in random stuff (i got wiped by dying to a player in the depths xd)

pls translate

i don’t speak DW jargon but really wanna understand this paragraph

Go Flamecharm with optional azure flame and Starkindred. You’ll literally get the “It’s not about power vs power, it’s skill vs skill” mantra. (Starkindred Fire Blade)

no seriously can we nerf this shit it’s basically unparryable, unblockanle, undodgable and also flings you to another continent. It also does some of the highest damage I’ve seen in the enitre game.

How is this hard to understand? If you’ve ever played a traditional or somewhat traditional rpg game this is pretty obvious to understand…

ether = basically the bar to cast ur magic and stuff, same as the energy bar in wom

flame is a shortened version “flamecharm” which is just what the fire ability is called, and hes talking about the stat point

charisma, intelligence, willpower, strength, agility are all stats that you can put points into aswelll, azure flames is prob some stat locked ability or something :woman_shrugging:

charisma doesn’t give more ether per stat point…

char gives 1.5 per point and int gives 2 per point

Don’t go 100 Intelligence it sucks ass rn :skull:

Honestly you should probably start planning out your builds you’ll have a way better experience with deepwoken that way

Or search up a build and copy it’s stats and talents

Wait what, it used to give 1 ether and one reservoir… huh, neat

New build, fuck jetstriker, visionshaper seems much more fun…and useful.

I think these stats are decent, I need feedback tho

I’m thinking of switching to either galebreathe or thundercall and use heavy weps with em

The choice of boons is a bit strange
Autodidact is even less useful then before. It used to be considered fine for newer players, but now that there are 15 points per level and progression is 4.5x easier, it’s much less helpful.
Maverick seems good at first glance, but the actual bonus is something like 10%, so basically killing one mob less at higher levels when you might start going into xp dept (which will probably only happen because of autodidact giving you “free” points). Killing mobs is both easier at higher levels, and you will do it anyway to get loot, I don’t think it’s that useful.
If you want a boon useful for progression, get scrapper, since you get to burn useless cards more often. If you want one that will stay useful after lvl 20, get survivalist. It’s niche in usefulness, but it makes you able to glide in acid rain in upper Erisia and that annoyance removal alone makes it worth it to me.

As for the stat points, they’re good. Not sure you need the 25 in will, It only unlocks some Mental Fortress card you only need if you’re going blindseer. If you want to Depths farm (which I assume you do, since you need Void Feathers for Visionshaper), Conquer your Fears is enough imo, and 20 will is useful for Giant Slayer.
If you decide to keep the 25 will, you can either put the 2 remaining in Fort so you can use the Worshipers Shield, or in HW so you can use the 80 req heavies (Enforcers blade and hammer, and maybe some others).
If you drop the will down to 20 you can get both.

Tbh for the boons I just picked them day 1 since I didn’t understand what some did and these looked the best and just rolled with em not bothering to recheck all the boons, although you’re right, also I thought autodidact just gave free points but I realize now it doesn’t, I’ll make sure to have scrapper in the future cuz I get a lot of shitty rare cards I don’t like.

How tho, I’d manage to get heavy weps to 80 and fort to 42. U right tho those options sound much more appealing than 1 or 2 semi useful talents.

(btw I bought a file slot and I have canor on it, dont think it matters but just thought I’d mention it)

Yup, that’s what all of us did. I also rolled with Maverick for a long time thinking it helps, then I looked some stuff up on the wiki and ended up on the boons/flaws page and found out it’s only 10%.

You’re a Khan, so you can fulfill requirements for equipment while being 3 points bellow. The Worshipers Shield needs 45 Fort, and the Enforcers Blade, for example, needs 80 HW. As a Khan, you can use both at 42 Fort and 77 HW.

Yeah I kinda realized this a few mins ago, but as I said I did buy a new file which is a canor, though I guess I’ll just swap the build to my khan and do another build on my canor :woman_shrugging:

vision shaper is so atrochious
55 charisma just to get a oath that is tedious to get
and wtf are u gonna do with that 55 charisma it is so wasted

visionshaper does not seem that bad, but yeah ur right the obtainment is def out of my reach, im still too fucking shit to even beat a sharko so I may have to leave it for the future. The only oaths I don’t mind are arcwarder, dawnwalker, visionshaper, and mayybe contractor or starkindred

55 charisma for lasting charisma :woman_shrugging:

one thing would be to dabble into shrine of order and get ur stats flipped around after getting the high stat reqs and all that and then invest the rest into whatever talents and scaling ur trying to achieve.

it’s a bit complicated because of how vision shaper needs to be obtained because of the reqs compared to other oaths. but it’s manageable, just means u’d cap out ur charisma or so, obtain all of vision shaper have order splice ur stats into 30s ish once ur lvl 12 and then go for other stat based talents of whatever u want for the remaining 8.

could yoink caster talents from int, ghost or tap dancer stuff from agility, go get million ton piercer, etc.

also go 30 str w/ gale, there really isn’t any point on not getting suffocate unless ur hardcore pveing and even then ur build isn’t built for it.

also there isn’t really any reason to go past 15 wp aside from unfazed and lose ur mind or going blindseer
