I never said it’s useless I said KINDA useless :point_up_2:

Yes please.

Quality of life is quality of life. This suggestion may feel useless until it’s added to the game and you start to appreciate that it even exists.
Also, nearly all kinds of QoL features won’t harm anyone if it’s added because you can simply ignore it.

Anyway, if you’re going to add a delete chart option then might as well make it so ANY item in the game can be deleted.
I’m not sure why treasure charts should be the only one with this feature anyway.

Even if it would be better to just sell the item to any merchants rather than deleting it, it would exist solely so players can get rid of it without having to travel to the nearest merchant.

Deleting charts is dumb imo just cause it logically makes sense to bear with the annoyance to not lose value (the potential items from the chart). I’d do this instead:

  • You can search specific for specific islands

  • Charts are sorted based on their island, so if you have multiple Goso Jungle charts they will always be beside each other

  • After you read a chart, its icon in your inventory will have the name of the island plastered right ontop of the chart (condition is optional, putting the name of the island is the important part and much more useful than a shade of worn paper)

  • Charts have more possible visuals (more chart colors and wear states, theres like 3 slightly different colors and 3 barely recognizable shades rn but it really isn’t enough)

  • Maybe spread out their rarities more? You mainly get common charts and a few uncommon charts naturally (the latter seem to be worse to farm), rare+ charts mainly come from rivals so your inventory is mostly grey (this one strays a bit far from the qol part)

I would also say that making charts so common yet having most of the islands being annoyingly far or not useless (when hunting for specific modifiers) is also part of the issue (making the concept of lost treasure stop feeling special after a bit of gameplay + gamblecore :sleeper:) but that would require a mechanic rework which is a bit beyond this suggestion.

sure why not.

sell charts

just die boom no more charts

I’m always in favour of QoL suggestions. Also hey you’re back

shoulda been like this from the start
