I don’t know how they look in the game

this is honestly so peak
AE.g

thank you

and

The duality of AO players.

The bears and their size is fine, they fit with the other animals.

Just want to remind everyone, that the black and brown bears should not be abnormally large, since magic radiation would only effect them as much as it had humans.

Well, have you seen the size of brown and polar bears? Those things are gigantic

ok so if the dark sea naturally pushes everything exposed to it towards fish-like mutations, and bears are in the dark sea…

Does that mean we’re getting bear sharks???

For now my only complaint about bears is that they look off compared to the rest of the game

So we can finally get
Tiger sharks.

you’re always gonna find negative people, best to leave them alone to avoid bogging yourself down or constructively discuss criticism
i think some of their movement looked a lil janky from the demo video (lots of change into super high/low acceleration, i feel something more gradual would be more fitting - itd better distinguish them from human characters’ hostile ai)

nah, make them bigger

the bears are probably larger because of their food

now this begs the question
if microwaves existed in ao would the magic radiation in the meat get magnified

so heat “kills” magic energy inside of things

i assume this is near the limit of how effective it can actually be in terms of removing magic pollution but its still an odd implication

To be fair, eating magic energy is probably not inherently unsafe.

magic isnt inherently unsafe in general so eating it definitely isnt

all the fish and likely land animals to some extent are also magic polluted so people in AO regularly eat things with some amount of magic energy in them

the difference with the dark sea bears is obviously theyre completely irradiated by magic

but also that begs the question of how the fish in the dark sea arent

Magic Energy is an allegory for microplastics!

ironic of you to say that
