I have a feeling that Rell Seas will be similar to Jujutsu infinite, an incredibly hyped up game that will fall off very quickly due to it either being overhyped or the gameplay loop being awful

I don’t think the hype bubble will come from the game sucking, it’s just rell seas IS THAT GAME FOR REAL
When it drops, people are gonna know it drops. The developers are surprisingly modest, but the fact that is is that game is going to ruin its reputation inevitably when it first drops, regardless of it being a banger or not
I think that ironically AO is the best one piece game on the platform and I say that because a lot of its features give me the one piecey vibe that not even one piece games can give but its unique parts like its lore and story really separate it and make it better than any other op games in my opinion. With all that being said I do think Rell Seas will be better than AO on release given we might not even have FR by that point but in the end its not what AO is at the moment that draws me toward the game its the potential and what it could be that captivates me so much. I cant wait for the story to continue and the dark sea to expand and all the little features and planned things from the trello to be added.
also I dont get why yall are hating on Rell Seas and their dev teams so much

AO has happened inbetween, we have tangible proof of improvement, that is the difference.
With Rell Seas we have a bunch of easily-broken promises and a bad history.
I don’t think you’ve watched any of their showcases. Theres a lot of promising things and I’d say its pretty tangible and not anything like Shindo

Isn’t it just another anime game? Don’t see the appeal im afraid. It may have more players like other mediocre games but in every other aspect, nah.
It’s definitely the most ambitious out of them, plus the devs are trying to stray away from the typical bandit beating anime games put you through

Agreed. Speaking as someone excited for the game to release, the hype is going overboard. People are expecting Rell Seas to be the “Savior of Roblox” and some nonsense, so Rell Seas is not gonna live up to the hype regardless of how good it is. You know the hype is too much if the devs are trying to calm down the hype

I get it, shindo life was… bad to put it lightly. However, just judging off of the sneaks I feel like Rell Seas is going to be waaaaaay better.
I understand your hesitation, seeing how most anime games are complete dogwater and rip-off blox fruits games on roblox. However, I feel like Rell Seas is going to be far better. Rell Seas is actually being made a non-linear game with an interesting combat system.
I’ve played Jujutsu Infinite, and I 100% agree that it is dogwater. The difference here is that while JJI was literally just grinding the same thing over and over, Rell is a non-linear MMORPG.

On current roblox, anime games = trash. However, Rell Seas is focusing on a non-linear progression based MMORPG rather than some garbage bandit beater.
