Does the AO universe have its own version of woke culture?

The pirates are too busy fantasizing about the dark sea but never going for them to care

I mean, Mayor Tilly is a female mayor, which generally weren’t anywhere near common until the late 1900s. Also Lady Carina is a trusted woman of the Order, despite her incompetence. And of course, there’s Dame Cae-

Progression is at 100%

“Erm well guys maybe you shouldn’t commit genocide over another kingdom just to dominate a sea

“Erm, fucking behead this guy.”

its hard to have sexism when a woman can just blow your brains out with explosion magic

so a group of people calling everything they don’t like and don’t understand a certain word that they don’t understand the history of?
probably skyhall tbh, racist people tend to do that sort of stuff

Woke means you are awake

Everyone wakes up from being asleep

Therefore everyone takes part in woke culture

it was all a dream

I don’t want to ask what you mean by this arch, but everyone is probably too busy killing eachother and getting killed

We bouta start a woke movement in skyhall concerning sea monk- I mean sea dweller rights

Probably not, the people in AO have real problems that need solving.

I don’t think siren rights will be a thing in the future because to have woke culture you need a long term prolonged peace and overall disinterest in war by the commonfolk

Its not about sirens, its the sky pirates who are the problem here. As long as I tollerate normal ones the skyrates shouldnt have own kingdom

first in line :sob:

Tbh this world is based on Greco Roman culture and considering they didn’t really care about race but rather language and that they all already speak Greek racism is probably a non-issue except during times when kingdoms are at war (skyhall is the exception)

There’s way more stuff to worry about than to care about that.
Y’know, curses, poverty, monarchy, assassins, magic lunatics, etc etc.

Even if there is, I doubt it’s widely spread among the seas.

There probably is minimal sexism as well as magic mitigates natural physical female disadvantages (the only discrimination I imagine is widespread is magic vs nonmagic)

especially being a curse user

Ngl hate speech to tyberia is real
