same im kinda confused too
basically instead of applying the fighting style first and the magic second its now the other way around
like status effect wise?
Would this change affect what status effects that are made from the combination of others such as frozen or petrified?
So like basically if the magic applied bleed the fighting style wouldn’t synergize with it even if it had a bleed synergy but if a fighting style applied bleed and the magic synergized with bleed it would work (that was probably confusing as well sorry haha)

Yes because it’s Ice inflicting Frozen on Soaked, not Sailor inflicting Frozen on Freezing.
FS + Magic Status = Synergy

Correct me if im wrong, but does that mean this field is useless for warriors, since it only takes in cosnideration the status effect of fs, eg Bleeding, Soaked, Seared for synergy check?
That’s what I’m perplexed about too, since now warriors have 4 different ways of dealing status effects, but normal weapons don’t have affinities/synergies.
I don’t really understand if “elemental weapons” (poison tooth dagger/sunken sword/…) and possibly greased weapons just inflict status effects or have the same affinities/synergy as their magic equivalent.

i’d say lvl 200 is when savants gets really good because you could go 90 magic| 150 str| 160 wep and use strength weapons with imbument.
