Nah, it got updated for AO! Now it affects the whole screen and has an additional effect, itās just not out yet!!
They needed to cut down on statuses for roblox string data reasons. A color variant of Blinded acts the same as Inked, and the synergy was deemed necessary to be nerfed. You can see that the magics are coming back by the updated Paper Magic icon.

If this was actually the case, I would NOT shut the fuck up about it.
In actuality, thatās just how Paper Magic Circles look in WoM. Why do they get three pieces of paper in a triangle shape on the Magic Circle, but the actual Magic Icon is only one? No idea.
My God, this is almost exactly what I said in Patreon chat.
I even pinged Vet to see if he would consider doing this. I imagine if he made Dragon Armor have set in stone base stats with some variance in stat distribution depending on the magic of the dragon slain it would increase engagement with the update and encourage people to farm dragons more.
The mood was like 50/50 in there.
Some people (the completionists) objected to this idea on the grounds that it would make min maxxing their builds even more hellish.
Nevertheless, I think this idea should genuinely be considered. Think about the possibilities for the marketplace, the build making scene, and overall playtime.
The benefits are obvious: Itād be as if we got sunken level gear with arcaniumās possibilities.
And the grind would be much less boring than for sunkens, Iām all up for this. However, with such large variety, there needs to be a way to increase your odds of encountering the one specific variant of a dragon that you need. Some magic-imbued totem as a quest item, that gives you increased odds at generating that specific dragon?

I was thinking about this as well.
To cut down on the grind time what if there was an Odyssey length quest to get a totem that can be imbued with the desired magic for a steep price (legendary reagents and thousands of galleons) to summon the dragon you want with the tier being dependent on your range or the dark sea?
Make it the final reward of Cazalās questline. His fourth quest involves killing a young dragon, after all
