Is there a statement? No. But considering lore is used as a reason commonly by vetex. The most likely answer is normally the answer.

It is the truth, be it meme or statement.
The game development process has always been majorly flawed when it came to Vetex adding features based on the Arcane Lore instead of gameplay reasons.

Sure, people are repeating the “it’s caused by Vetex making out of lore” meme/statement, but that’s a good thing, for the more there is, the higher chance Vetex will see his mistakes.

I know I’m not supposed to have hope when it comes to believing in AO, but it’s the truth.

Step when releasing a feature;

  1. Release Feature, no bug fixing
  2. Wait for people to suffer because of said bug fixing.
  3. Ban someone because they couldn’t adapt to it, ez ban.
  4. See feedback.
  5. Argue for no apparent reason.
  6. Actually fix some bugs, but never the actually important ones.
  7. The balance team hops in and ruins the balancing, making it nigh worthless
  8. Repeat
