Btw those floating circles are arms. I’m still testing where I want those to go and how big each individual circle needs to be for maximum arm size relative to the pov.
Depends on what kind of art school you’re considering, if it’s a small art class for amateurs that doesn’t demand you to make art or other stuff as homework then maybe that could be good
From my experiences, art isn’t fun when you’re forced to create something with a certain theme that you didn’t pick yourself because it supposedly makes you better. The best art is made with full artistic freedom.
You just need to get a feeling for the basics of how to get the image in your head onto paper. Art school could help with that, but if you are considering to go to one, I really recommend you to go to like a small group where people make a themed art piece together and everyone just collectively fucks around and finds out. You can learn a lot from others and it doesn’t have to be serious
But yeah honestly it’s up to you. I’m pretty much a self taught artist and I turned down opportunities to go to art school because I didn’t want to get serious with my art. I want art to stay a hobby that I have control over.
I’m taking a break from Bridget art to read this art
book titled “Drawing on the right side of the brain”, and I’ve read 17 pages in and the author is hyping the book up like hell and I’m high-key interested and my standards have been heightened. I’m pretty sure reading this is gonna increase my intelligence level by a lot.
I read 25 pages into the book, and the author makes some convincing arguments about art. She says that the American school system doesn’t use the right side of their brains and instead focuses on the left. Apparently, by learning these skills, I’ll be able to draw anything and also apply this to things later on in life.
I guess I’ll spend time learning what this book has to offer.
Because of this new art revelation and how art is perceived, I’ve decided to do some vocab practice with my Japanese (I only did like a few of them because writing symbols is hard)
This is the real life equivalent of trudging through an area in SMT, inching closer until you can get a demon that stomps all the enemies and then after that is smooth sailing.
Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne is good you should play it even though it is hard.
I was considering moving on with my current tools (which consists of multiple mechanical pencils, multiple colored pencils, and line paper you’d typically find in schools).
This means that I’m gonna have to go out and buy the things I need and do arts and crafts for like 3 of them. This sucks for me because RPG Maker MZ might go on sale on the 13th and now I have to make a choice between buying art supplies or getting the next installment in the game development software I use (It costs $80 when it’s not on sale). Life truly does suck.
I was thinking that I should do Japanese practice again but that took eighty years and hurt my hand, not to mention that the alphabet system is long as hell.
