If it makes you feel any better I knew who you were

Side note: progress on my Savant has been slower than I thought cause of college stuff getting in the way, but it is finally at max level I just need to speedrun through the campaign and get it the gear it needs. Than you can fight it and most likely crush me.

i would reccomend not using shift lock as much because aiming with your mouse gives more versitilaty with oyur aim i would reccomend using it more for pve

As someone who uses shift lock exclusively, I disagree. Maybe, just like me, he performs better with shift lock and enjoys it more. I can send clips if you don’t believe me.

tbh, i think it just depends what you’re used to using, someone who uses shiftlock a lot would feel more comfortable using that whereas someone who mostly uses free mouse would prefer that

Too lazy to keep this alive, too invested to let it die.
Here’s another generic PvP clips dump before Empires Update, this time without any stupid shenanigans, just pure unga bunga without any gear at all.

This was mostly to keep me from being too rusty. I lost count of how many times through the session I tried to roll cancel as if I’m playing Deepwoken or slow down battle like a Total War player :pensive:

Feel free to criticise my gameplay, offer advice, or ask me for a duel (preferably SG, Portland, but I can do other regions EXCEPT AUS). Anyway, to follow the original spirit of the thread, here’s what I learned:

  • Reaction timing for increadibly slow imbuement
  • I performed way better in some clips because instead of dodging, I traded damage with him instead. In response to Size pressure, it’s better to prioritise cycling through ranged abilities instead of breaking combat with mobility/melee attacks since, when returned to neutral, I lose my attack speed advantage.
  • Read input.
  • Got a little bit better with free-aiming, still reliant on Shiftlock.
  • Not really a new thing, but try not to be intimidated by Size builds. You’d perform way better.
  • Drink water. Being hydrated improved my performance :ok_hand:

why is your hotbar setup so cursed

I like having magic on 2 because it’s the most convenient key. Then I just sort out the other weapons in order of how spammable they are(eg. Guns on 4 and SS on 1)

Magic on two feels the best ngl. I like switching to it after a musket shot or rising tide to throw a leap or beam.

It also helps it’s directly above the W key as well, make it one swift motion

For my lightning conj i run:

Sunken sword 1
Staff 2
Lightning 3
Musket 4

Cuz when I used to be a lightning water mage i had lightning on 3 and water on 4

Sob why :sob:

because ur magic is on the third slot smh

yeah, doesn’t he know he needs to store it in the backpack

What’s wrong with the 3rd slot?

it’s not on first slot

3rd slot magic on a conjurer isn’t that weird compared to the fact that you had your magic(s) on 3 and 4 ON A MAGE FILE
