I dealt with the same problem, it’s strange but you already got it fixed so good work ig
never drawn a person before so i made an attempt at a sketch and really struggled with the lower half for some reason
nah that’s really good man, I always end up struggling with anatomy but you got it done pretty well
Look at yourself in a mirror from different poses and begin to analyse how your muscles move and look like based on either their outline or shape, it’ll be a good start. Then, once you feel like you’ve understood something, begin sketching it over and over again until you’re satisfied with it or run out of time.
Do this once everyday and you’ll figure basic anatomy out in a month or two (Learning a craft is like exercise; Short series are often better than long repetitions depending on the subject and level).
Just a tip but I’d recommend reading a book called “Fun with a Pencil” by Andrew Loomis.
It’s meant for literal beginners and he speaks in an upbeat tone in the book so it’s easier to understand him.
You can pirate a PDF of it on Library Genesis.
Way better advice than the guy above my comment.
I wasn’t able to stick to my draw something every day thing cuz I’ve been busy but I’ll be back to it tomorrow hopefully
had a little go at drawing an arm properly and i now know why people say hands are the hardest to draw
i have been practicing but i kinda forgot to post here so here is a drawing i made from reference (idk how to get rid of the checkered marks they just appeared and wont go away)
The checkered marks are usually used in graphic softwares to indicate a transparent background. If you add a new layer, colour it completely white and put it all the way under your drawing it would act as a white background. You can of course do this with any colour
Most softwares have that white background layer by default so if you didn’t specifically remove it it’s kinda strange
Which one are you using again?
Krita
It’s there by default on Krita, the layer is named “background”. Just don’t disable/delete it. It’s also locked by default so you can’t draw in it
