Snow is satisfying, cool (pun intended), and something else
snow isnt based though
Neither is sand
And at least snow can freeze
freezing is almost useless anyways and how is sand not based? its probably the most balanced and underrated magic in the game

I like both snow and sand a lot but I chose sand because sand is more based
