Father Vetex shot a nerf bullet at power

I’m trying to go power/keen or defense/keen, so looking at this buff for keen puts a smile on my face. What about the Power enchant on items now gives 12.5% less power? Is this only for weapons (is so I think that is a fair nerf) or is it also for clothing? If so, I dislike that nerf. I do agree with the Beam Attacks now only use 75% of your power stat though. What do you guys think?

Welp, if the scaling-with-magic-base-damage change to magic power wasnt enough to kill beam spam for most magics, then this nerf to the way magic power affects beam damage will most certainly put the nail in the coffin.

Beam spam is a pitfall anyways so I guess these changes wont be that bad. Still tho, as a light user the magic power changes are gonna make me one sad boi

Its better to nerf it now, cause in the future better amulets would be OP asf.

Here are my explanations.

Currently, the Strong enchant increases Power by 10% (1 Power per 10 levels).

This seems okay at first since most other enchants give the same number of stats, but in reality, it is not. Considering that gear that gives Power (except for Power Amulets, which should be nerfed slightly too) give less stats compared to their other stat counterparts, it should be similar for the enchant for Power as well; it only makes sense. The tier 1 Strong enchant should scale 8.75% rather than 10% (0.875 Power per 10 levels) as to be relatively balanced with gear that gives Power.
