Fighting Styles appreciation thread

against anyone good at movement, the build isnt good. any zoning build can just dash away and high jump and movement skill in the air and you’re unable to do anything because you can even use crash to get up there since it has no distance.

That’s understandable, yeah. Obviously a brawling build is going to be a lot weaker against people who understand how to position themselves, especially zoners who understand that!

But for direct combat, this build seems to be pretty great. And that’s what matters to me.

With speed focus and 44 agility, I can pick my battles and matchups pretty easily.

sand winnin

same honestly hope the speed buff in v1.12 actually goes through , iron leg is fun until somebody decides to actually space you at which point you’re kinda fucked

boxing is pretty ass as it stands pre v1.12 buffs but build was too funny to pass up , a shadowboxing clip for yall

haha funny “shadow” boxing

oh my lord that damage is insane.

i am totally stealing that.

you land grabs very consistently, is there any trick to doing so? mine usually just goes right through them if it grazes or sometimes doesnt take me far at all ;(

How do I get better at the game? It’s not like I’m bad at PVP, but I want to beat people that are ACTUALLY good at PVP, too. So far, I’ve lost almost every proper fight against a decent player.

Do you have any recommended ways to improve?

If I’m being honest Rushdowns are a liability to use with their miniscule hitbox and the fact that they just drop if you take any damage during them, but they’re too fun to pass up honestly. As far as aiming them goes, my tip is to just remember that grab hitbox is small, so it’s best used if you know you’re gunna land the hit. Whether that’s because they’re stuck in the animation, travelling in a predictable path, airstalling with spells, or whatever else, these are the best times to go for a Rushdown presuming you know you can hit one.

Time and effort. I’ve been playing since AA, and the fastest way to improve is just to fight. A lot. I spent days fighting at Judgement Isle and Cerulea. I spent days fighting at Coliseum. Now I’ve spent a lot of time fighting at Munera. Everybody starts somewhere. Sometimes getting your shit kicked in on repeat can teach you a lot. Even though you may not prevail or claim a win, you can survive longer; land more hits of your own, start to learn the parry timings on certain casts, and what you want to dodge to avoid. Time and effort, big man. You’ll get better eventually, everyone does.

Boxing supremacy

Im glad people are discovering the power of crystal warlock. Irong leg bleed synergy with crystal is mad, and imo best magic in the game.

hey quick question, do you know if thermo hits count as fire?
thinking about doing a poision warlock build

Not entirely sure. It applies ‘Burn’ and does share some heat-based interactions with Fire, but I’m not sure if their interactions are exactly the same.

Probably does. Iron leg works like metal, Sailor Fist works like water, Thermo Fist should have the same reactions as fire.

alright thanks

i love the build and his movesets,my build is warlock with explosion and it does insane dmg. With only 70 power i kill glasscanons.
