Silas Regulus, The Monarch
aka. AO Main Story Protagonist
An amnesiac legacy who awakens washed ashore on Dawn Island after he and his companions after narrowly escaping alive from the clutches of the Order of Aesir, yet having lost his own memories in the process. What remains of his fractured identity is an undying curiosity to learn more about his world around him and vanquish its greatest threats. Through his indomitable will, strong sense of justice and his newfound passion for combat, he bravely cleaves through even the most perilous challenges thrown at him with an unwavering determination.
Initially he was once opposed to unnecessary violence, since learning of the Order’s has given him flashes fragments of his blurred past and brought forth intrusive thoughts during his time he spend in the Bronze Sea. His experiences had made him open to more aggressive approaches. Throughout his journey, he also has seemingly developed habit for taking the spoils of his victories against his foes, having picked up their gear for his own as the journey continues.

A jaded and pessimistic criminal who turned on her kingdom she was once in service of upon learning of its dark secrets, having abandoning some her previous beliefs since then. Identified as a trident-wielding mage who soars the skies using wings of fire from her Phoenix Magic, while also capable of raining down volcanic destruction with her Magma Magic.

Merazo, The Fallen Lich
The late husband of Annula, and a former elite bounty hunter who met his untimely death at the hands of Mephisto, originally once was a gravekeeping mage who used Darkness Magic and practiced Dead Revival Magic for rather benevolent purposes, despite its forbidden reputation. His corpse had been taken by his killer, with mad scientist using it for curse experimentation, particularly with the Necromancy Curse. These results created a rather uncontrollable entity that is bent on preying on the living, and assimilating them into their undead legion. No longer was he the heroic necromancer then, but a skeletal husk who terrorized the living using an army of undead soldiers.

Cocytus, The Fallen Executioner
A towering, colossal Vastus who travels with his necromancer master, Merazo, serving as his most powerful undead warrior under his servitude within their master’s lifetime. He often slumbers within the interior of his master’s ship, emerging at his command. Many of Merazo’s foes feared the might of the colossus’ power, brandishing a colossal greataxe with its full strength. Even with the death and re-awakening of his master into an undead lich, he remained only in his servitude.

Overseer Invicta, The Harbringer of Doom
A sly woman of rare origins only ever accounted within Alfheim, given her distinguishable traits of pointed ears, and is among the four Assassin Overseers. Compared to her fellow Overseers, she spends more of her activities seamlessly blending in across different War Sea societies. Despite her youthful appearance, she is already over a hundred years old, with a notable experience wielding the dreaded Apocalypse Bringer Magic, alongside two ancient relics such as the Sunlit Bow, a weapon relic bow blessed by Apollo - the god the sun, music, healing, plagues, and archery - and the Kallisti Apple, a golden apple-shaped relic blessed by Eris - the goddess of strife and discord.

Tensen Lian, The Founding Lotus
The legendary alchemist, Tensen Lian hails from the now bygone land of the Qin Dynasty since the Fracture, the leader of Kinorakuen’s sennins, master of the Senjutsu and the wielder of the Life Curse. Once a scholar who bided his time with spiritual and magical practices, he dedicated his life to the goal of achieving perfect immortality through alchemy, and creating the legendary Elixir of Life. Lian began his journey over a millennia ago, having successfully landed into an uncharted, mythical paradise to where he began his centuries long research.
Come the Fracture, the surrounding treacherous seas had trapped the curse-wielding alchemist in the island for the time being, and the new magic energy-dense environment birthed dangerous creatures both born of mutation, attracted beings of myths and legends, but most importantly, an abundant source of potential ingredients for the elixir. During this time, Lian had began altering his own body through alchemy with the help of the Life Curse, and eventually using this to create a race of the synthetic, immortal plant-like beings from a mystic combination of human and flower nymphs.

The Daemon Marauders
A powerful, paramilitary criminal organization co-founded by the two outlawed siblings, Imperator Diablo and Imperator Derby of Melbourne. They are a group of raiders whom adopted the warrior culture of Keraxe, whilst having access to the level of technology only ever seen in the Throne Empire, for they are also comprised of skilled mechanists and builders, all of whom are self-afflicted with Mageskin disease.
Given that their condition shortens lifespans, these warriors faithfully embrace fighting with reckless abandon, being more than ready to take down their enemies alongside themselves in a blazing and glorious sacrifice, mostly by using the small barrels of explosives they tend to carry around. They believe that going out in such fashion, their death will carry them through the gates of Valhalla.

Batra, The Hooded Deathsong
A harpy considered exotic even amongst her own kind, possessing the traits of the Hooded Pitohui, a rare, poisonous songbird known to share the same natural toxins within poison dart frogs, thanks to their diet of poisonous insects. On top of her natural poison, she can conjure magical poison fumes with Poison Magic, which she can spread wide as she soars the skies.

Medusa, Queen of the Gorgons
The Queen of the Gorgons was once a beautiful priestess serving in a temple dedicated to the goddess Athena, she became the victim of an unjust tragedy-after-tragedy involving her own goddess and Poseidon, with former cursing her into the form of a hideous monster whose gaze turned anything into stone. Since these events, she has held great contempt for the two Olympians, and even extends to those related to them.
Originally destined to be beheaded by a demigod, a twist in fate would in the form of the Fracture. For years, she spent hiding away from the dangers of the Dark Seas which she easily dominated within eyesight, until eventually after centuries, she came upon the a recently discharged Earth Curse. Recounting the stories of the Sea Curses, she took it upon herself to absorb it. Strangely, not only did it grant her immense powers over the earthly elements, she had uniquely discovered the ability to control the statues of those who fell to her gaze.
