Forum Curses: It's Not My Dream Anymore

“Watcha yall plan on doin today?”

Nix waves Kulvir goodbye, before letting his eyes wander across the train station.

“I… yeah, I guess this is goodbye to them…”

Calypso shifted nervously next to Jane, brushing strands of seemingly wet hair out of her eyes as she looked to the group.

“Though, the more I think about it… I never actually… knew him Well??? Like, at all???”

Kulvir looks at you for a moment. “You’re one of us. But I cannot place my mind on who you are. Goodbye, strangers. Although I consider anyone of our condition to be more familiar than most.”

“This line. That goes straight to the industrial heart of The Third? You can get sandwiches in town, my friend. There is a good spot down Fossgate. Just head out the station, turn left and continue that way. Its the third right after Ouse bridge.”

“Oh shit! He’s here!”

Lucky breaks a fire extinguisher out of it’s case.

“Goodbye, Kulvir! Don’t throw a fireball at me!”

“Goodbye Kulvir”

Jane shrugs. “Neither did I. You guys occasionally hung out right? Like uh. That party that happened in January which I wasn’t invited to. The one everyone went to. But I didn’t. The one where uh. You know. Jay…”

Across the train station, Kulvir glared at Lucky with a cold look.

“I would keep your voice down. There are people who do not know about this nearby.”
He looks at Jane, from across the station.

“And it would be better for us all if they did not find out.”

“Huh? What the hell do you mean by ‘condition’? Is there something you know about these strangers that I don’t?”

Nix looks at Lucky, evidently confused, and approaches him.

“Why would he be throwing a fireball at you in front of this many witnesses?” Nix inquires quietly.

“No, there was a special sandwich shop that just opened up, it’s all the rage nowadays, some friends wanted me to try one. Doesn’t seem like I’ll be getting there any time soon, though.”

“I dunno, wanna find out?”

“No, I was in quite a rush and as it turned out, the train hasn’t even arrived yet.”

“…I forgot that most people don’t really, know about all this. Especially, after y’know, someone invited almost the entirety of the school to the… er… Gaming tournament?”

“Yo, heard about some bullshit that went down. Hope you’re doing okay. Best of luck in future endeavours!”

Wren walks away and starts wandering through the crowd to find someone else to talk to.

“Fireball..? What did he accidentally fire off a firework towards you at some point?”

“Why did you just say brackets image brackets”

“Don’cha need to answer some million questions to get inside that new sandwich shop or am I thinkin of the wrong one”

“just don’t larp, my friend, and never answer wonderlab.”

“Ooooh you’re talking about that sandwich shop, been meaning to check that place out sometime.”
