Don’t be that guy who reponds to the question “Who are you?” with their profression. You’re you, Gamehero14, and you just so happen to be a lightning conjuror. If you don’t think your special, I just want you to know that I think you’re special. Did you know that just by existing, you already deserve to live?
We might have our differences, but I’m sure even after you died, the people you left behind will hold you in loving memory forever.
I should probably clarify: what I dislike is the open world aspect of PVP. The fact that players can deal damage to one another at any time with minimal consequence. Basically, I hate ganking, random killing, teaming, etc.
Basically, it’s the difference between agreeing to a sparring match with someone, versus some random dude jumping you on the street. One’s fun, the other just makes you mad and anxious.

I’ve always thought of ways to add a two sided consequence to this that both “punishes” the perpetrator while also giving them that PVP experience they long for. I’m not a suggestor though, so I’ve never fleshed those thoughts out.
Evidently so, given that I have quite possibly the single most common combination in the game.
make villains get more of a penalty
if you’re a villain you’re asking to get jumped in the first place
Now that I think about it again, that’s probably the best solution. Squeeze out any PVE villains and make it mostly a PVP position. Most Nimbus servers consist of pure positive renowns already(I once joined ten servers in a row, full of positive renowns), so filtering it out a bit more would probably increase that number into the Bronze Sea where most PVP players hang out(more islands to contest over, Munera Garden).

I mean, sure, but it still means I have one of the least creative characters. Despite the fact that I try to pride myself on creativity. (I am, of course, not all that creative, I just delude myself into thinking I am.)
