Forumer powerscaling evolution thread

like pain or “become more OP”

Pain ?

like it hurts him thats the reaction

Sorta, the curse reacts violently and takes over him, making him extremely powerful but extremely unstable, if he gits hits by a powerful enough Light or Aether attack during that phase he would litteraly explode

my character probably wouldn’t do that but I mean I guess you can just try to use magic attacks since phyiscal attacks wont work on lightbody form (like a logia fruit from one piece)

If we are going by OCs like in actual OCs, I will start.

Eric haha

Baby
bro is weak, what else do you expect from a baby
trast
Child
Started training in swords and and improving on magic, could burn a tree or break wood.
bad
Teenager
More improvement, weapon and magic growth starts to kick in.
Could injure a adult.
Nearly powerful as a adult.
not great but not awful
Young Adult
Oh boy, things start to kick in. Skilled at magic and weapons, muscular.
Attacks could make small craters, could take down a small group of people on his own.
Balanced

Post Kingdom Attack
Great at weapons and magic, also started learning blacksmithing. Also second magic.
Capable of defeating major pirate forces.
Great.
Attacks could destroy a large ship.

Few years time skip
Starting to learn lost spells and how to make arcanium weapons, can destroy towns.
More attacks.
Great.

Post Incineration Arc
Advanced spells such as flight and advanced weapon techniques. Also learning more about arcanium weapons. Also third magic.
Able to destroy or devastate a kingdom.
Fire magic is able to melt through most metals and destroy large objects like houses.
Weapons are very fine tuned.
Very Strong.

Pre Unknown Arc
First and Second magic are mastered. Weapon creation is excellent. Starting to understand spells like flight and mode. Good arcanium weapons. Able to make magic imbued weapons.
Can destroy fleets of ships and destroy large kingdoms.
This is the part when he meets a younger Freedrock and duels him, coming out in a draw. He also obtains a scar.
This is also before the few hundred year time skip.
Very powerful and fast.

Few hundred years time skip
Finally masters third magic, weapons are fine tuned and very excellent quality. More ancient spells and rare weapons. Also his eyes start to turn orange.
Able to destroy islands and damage large islands.
Somewhere he finds Freedrock again and is a draw, but gifts Freedrock a magic imbued sword. After seeing Eric’s power and his craftsmanship, he invites him to the unknowns and becomes a unknown.
Can destroy massive islands and sink large fleets. Is also capable of defeating multiple admirals.
Insanely strong.

Post Unknown Arc
All three magics mastered, makes magic imbued weapons for the unknowns, powerful spells and weapons techniques. Eyes are orange like fire.
He is Freedrock’s partner and rival, he also likes to joke with him.
Attacks can split small continents and clash with Freedrock, also near infinite stamina, durability is massively high.
Continental level.

Btw all of this takes place in @Tobi version of the Arcane Universe.

Cryonical (Very static character in terms of powers as they are a proxy), probably building level… unless they get a hold of something later in the story that I haven’t made up yet. And no, this isn’t a self insert, they’re a different character and I just use their name online.

Alicia: Depends on how chronologically old she is, as the longer she lives the further she can train, obviously. I don’t think she has a hard limit on her power so she could just have near infinite physical power at some point. Only thing stopping her is theoretical death or a change in these powers.

Calamity: Building level most likely, they don’t really have powers besides growing crystals in people and being really strong, have a fair few weaknesses though they’re basically invincible. Not too much to say here.

Alicia’s Absolute Impact: I’m not sure how to rank it since it just completely obliterates anything within a short range. COMPLETELY. Whatever she’s punching with this is completely and utterly doomed.

Alicia’s Starsplitter: A much bigger and more overall impactful attack that’s probably possible to survive since it’s more force and not destroying spacetime, likely galaxy level. Alicia at this point is probably capable of destroying planets just by how incredibly strong she is.

Chaos, Aviara, Revestro: 3 multiversal beings completely beyond any form of human comprehension. Easily multiversal and beyond, Chaos is twice as strong as one of the latter two but at how powerful they are, scaling beyond what we have is kind if impossible.

Aaron: universe level, the 100 swords can literally do anything, as long as the wielder understands in full what they’re actually doing, which does limit them a bit. However, a lot of my characters can defeat him as while the swords are extremely powerful, he’s not omniscient and is still subject to human fallacies.

Jeremiah: If he gets a hold of one of the swords, same as Aaron. If he doesn’t, then he’s basically just a fairly normal person (Of course, he does have increased senses and stamina due to being a demanim, a wolf one at that). The most smart (In terms of strategy and rationality, not facts) out of any of my characters besides the 3 gods, extremely physically strong and good with weapons. So cunning they can probably defeat all the characters that are more powerful than them on this list with relative ease besides the 3 gods.

do any of these beings transcend concepts?
death life time etc

Ill legit powerscale mine when i have some time

Yeah

Outerversal level for whoever does
outerverse level is the last tier below boundless

Lets see

Scarf

My main OC (Scarf), is an immortal scarf

They are at minimum city-level, they are strong enough, but their power isn’t really good for destruction, more for agility and being undetected (ability to manipulate themselves, a white scarf)

At max probably around state-level

The Deluxe Five

A group of 5 powerful adeventurers, 3 being demons, 1 being human, 1 being some sort of deformed mix

Starting off:

Simple Demon
Probably Continent level by end, can summon a greatsword the size of a city, his flames are similar to darkflames as where they spread insanely quickly and are almost impossible to put out, and he can also mark anything with flames, making them be set on fire for all of eternity

Dual-Faced Widow
Probably County level. She can cause conflict/ chaos in anything, causing it to explode, but the way that this conflict is caused is by shooting a small, slow blast that has a radius depending on the energy of herself

The Entity
really questionable level at best but probably can solo most (non-reality bending bullshit) characters in fiction. Can manipulate spaces and send things to other dimensions by simply having them in its view meaning that he could theoretically decapitate anyone, however this needs to be in his view, so destroying the sun would technically possible, as it is in his view, but if he was blind, he would not be able to do anything

Relic Expire-102D7
An abomination cross between human and demon, and not some sort of hybrid, but via having a demon face attached to his human face and being remotely controlled by electric signals. Level also depends on electricity output, his punch strength depends on how strong the signal is, so theoretically he could be univers-level, or he could be less that rat level or smth

Rhymes “The Immovable” Lexus
ALSO depends, he ability is to reflect what she registers an attack, so if a gamma ray were to attack earth, she could deflect it and straight up destroy a planet, so she is nearly impossible to kill (under most circumstances)

En

A super-soldier that can manipulate the “slicing” factor of anything, wields a broadsworrd that can cut anything

Even by endgame, probably like building-level, he can cut anything but he uses a sword, not much you can do with a basic broadsword

Nanao

A fellow super-soldier, currently in a stalemate with En as his ability (control of nanobots that can melt almost anything), but in terms of power he ranks far higher, probably around country level with his sheer plethora of nanobots by the end that he actually straight up has enough to swallow an entire state

The Unknown Anomaly (TUA)

A group powerful existences. Some notable Ones are:

The Victim:
Universe level. Each time he takes a step, a grand calamity is caused somewhere in the universe, however due to his absurdly high amount of fear caused by a curse, he rarely uses his power, if he were too, he could easily cause an explosion large enough to take out half of the universe with merely his left hand, which is much weaker than his right hand.

Ignotus “Static”
A being composed of “static”, can appear anywhere where “stopping” (such as the stopping of life, or a red light appearing, really most things) has occurred and manifest itself in it, allowing to to create a crazy amount of themselves. Each one of these are atleast planet level, as anything that touches them are instantly dissolved into static

The Chaos King
One of the leaders of TUA, can cause madness in anything by simply staring into their eyes, that is not the end of it though, as the name implies, they govern all factors of chaos, meaning that they control anything random and without a pattern, such as misfortune, events, etc. They are at least galaxy-level but it is unknown how strong they actually are

Alpha
The leader of TUA, the only one capable of beating The Victim. Infinite in terms of power level, they are literally the creator of anything and have reality anchoring/ priority reality bending, meaning any reality bending BS from any character in fiction does not work on “It” (or him). He can literally do anything, imagine an all powerful god, then try and imagine whatever can beat him, now imagine that but times a hundred and you barely have the grasp of a millionth of its power. Mainly keeps the several multiverses in check

Beta
Remember how everything has an opposite, it is the opposite of Alpha, it has a negative-infinite amount of power, making its sheer existence draining of basically everything and anything, It cannot be destroyed by Alpha but is constantly kept in check by it

There is more but im too lazy to finish

I have no idea how powerscaling works, so I’ll just do The Dragon Warrior’s life story.

Dragon Warrior

Child
Early years, learning how to farm like a normal farmer. Assumed to have no magic which is very rare.
Not strong

Young adult
Begins messing around with his anti-magic ability. It’s not very strong but he also begins dreaming of living in the military as a sergeant or higher. He practices with stick to get better at sword fighting knowing full well without proper training he won’t get far.
He is strong somewhat.

First years of the war
Raven’s mother dies giving birth to his younger brother. He gets stronger and a new man moves into town which teaches him self defense.
he got more muscles.

Military training
He joins the military getting stronger and learning how to use a sword and spear. He also gets promoted and begins dueling not doing to bad for himself. Learns to control his anti-magic more. able to make fields of it around himself for a few seconds before tiring.
Much better at combat than some but worse than others. Greater in power than the general populace.

City Destruction
The city Raven lives in is destroyed by a fathomless battle. Raven is patrolling so he comes back to find the wreckage and two fathomless battling. This is where things kick off and The Spectator decides to allow Raven to continue living as is servant. His power launches. He becomes faster, stronger, and his anti-magic easier to handle and control.
Building level perhaps

War days
Raven’s power grows as he helps the Spectator in the war, he discovers its possible to capture the last trails of magic left in the world by a fathomless death. Granting him abnormal speed and energy unobtainable normally. He shares this knowledge and the Spectator and Dragon Warrior are able to capture new powers.
Much Much faster and stronger

Repenting
The Spectator and Dragon Warrior discover they are fighting for the wrong side. They switch sides as the war reaches its end in a battle. Time locks are being made as a latch ditch war effort. The Dragon Warrior becomes much faster and with help can take on lower fathomless alone unlike most soulbounds.
City level

Next hundred years
The war is over and the Spectator and Dragon Warrior are in hiding. The two figure out how to increase energy and the dragon warrior discovers a new depth to his own power, anti-magic is also anti-energy in ways. Raven’s speed grows as instead of being servant and master the two become friends. His speed increases and he forges two artifacts “Sundrop” and “World Cleaver” two blades designed around his strengths.
Much stronger able to take on armies of normal soldiers alone.

Time Lock
On a quest to retrive the emerald, The dragon warrior is trapped in a time lock. He uses the time to build up his anti-magic eventually breaking out in a devastation of anti-magic killing people and killing other-people’s ability to use magic. After words he takes on an army 300000 strong with 2000 skilled mages. His speed is naring sound when he truly tries. After retrieving his blades he dons a set of new armor and takes on the Conqueror alone in a devastating battle.
Continent level???

The Monster
Rave and the spectator end up fighting a monster. Raven makes new armor and forges sundrop anew into the “Radiant Blade” and World Cleaver into “Planet Killer”. These edits make his strength and speed quick and timed. He can move up to mach 2 and stop his movement nearly instantaneously. His anti-energy can be held for weeks on end even allowing him to launch destructive blasts of anti-energy that kill creatures in its path.
city level

no. different character with different skills.
Wears a suit of armor that looks like a dragon.

lmaoooo

not really tbh, lots of characters start off like that and they still hella popular

(examples being saitama, superman, etc.)

superman has a really exploitable weakness however

and saitama is literally meant to be a parody of the trope

kryptonite is ass

nothin’ really stopping him from lasering it tbh

(or use his speed to grab the kryptonite and throw it into space or smth before it can take any huge effect)

kryptonite beams cough sniff
