Anyway I think making anthropomorphic characters is fine (we have literally been doing that since the dawn of civilization) but I just can’t stand the “cringe” aspect of furry culture as it sort of reaches a point where it’s a lazy one size fits all bandaid to excuse genuinely inappropriate and tone deaf behavior
I have had multiple people shit talk me on roblox beacuse they think “all furries are toxic” but I’m probably the furthest thing from that - I try to be unfailingly kind to everyone, even if I’m getting repeatedly spawncamped and w + s’d.

I think all of the furries who really aren’t great are either a vocal minority or a symptom of just being human like everyone else.
It’s not really a valid signifier of problematic people at all, it just gets roped in as one because of both natural masklophobia getting people to assume the worst and the boldness of it all just making it easier to reveal the freakazoids.
Don’t get me wrong some furries can be fairly nice, however I just don’t like the look of it or idea, sorry. And the whole warm water thing is a whole other topic that’s like running over a pile of hot coal.
