How does it feel rushed? Whatās missing from the story that we should have stuck around there for longer?
I think thereās only recently some respect for being more than the group that cleaned up the cleanup crew at Port Mistral, killing a Jarl 1v1 sounds like itād get us some Keraxe cred, only way I see us getting credit for being pivotal to the war is if Morden starts throwing the Death Curse around, or if we personally off one of the Sons.
Iām guessing that Keraxe would have been spread too thin having to handle both Sameria and Ravenna, and other major powers may see that as an opportunity to go after Keraxe. Sameria aloneās having a relatively decent showing so far considering it was a surprise war against such a heavy hitter.

We explore all the islands in the bronze sea during their parts and the only island we donāt visit that plays a role is palo so I think thatās a fault on the story yes. Though Ravenia the main island of the bronze sea we do infact fully explore. The nimbus lands of the nimbus sea we barely explore and thatās a fault
Not exploring all of it first but more importantly allanon. Heās a Phoenix user he could have saved his fiance but didnāt cause of plot then within the same day became a murderous maniac. We could of had days or weeks where we slowly see him change, seeing him pushed to this extreme mixed with the mental decay of the mage skin

I was mostly joking there, but heās probably got some Curse tricks up his sleeve other than flight.
So, because thereās no on screen explanation for something, that means all possible explanations are invalid? I donāt think every single detail needs to be spelled out, especially when it comes to mundane issues such as āhow to avoid guardsā, otherwise weāre going to need to investigate where those apples we got at the start of the story came from.

Those islands are significantly smaller, and I think it is reasonable to consider the different locations of the Nimbus Lands to be their own āislandsā for the purposes of your comparison. With that in mind, out of the locations we visited, we explored a similar percentage of the individual locations compared to Ravenna or Sameriaās towns, with the exception of the Nimbus Wilds, which as I said is much larger compared to other story locations.
Wasnāt she a good distance away when she got attacked?
First, weād need a reason to stick around for days or weeks, seeing as weāre there on business, we have to get the help we can and head back. I could be incorrect, but I recall that we were about to ask the King for help when Allanon got slightly upset. As for the short recovery time, I donāt recall if it was stated how long it usually takes for the poison to do its work (or if the poison is designed to be survived rather than it being a side effect of the Phoenix magic).

Thereās absolutely zero explanation how these order members who disguised as forsaken members managed to sneak their way through several cities, not get sensed, and stabbed both the betrothed and prince but we get an explanation that yeah they arenāt forsaken members. This is a heavy flaw and bad writing. Callahan who been training as well missed his light beam against dudes merely running. And allahan went down from a simple stab when weāre about to do worse to him later that day. And mind you these assassins are wearing bright yellow in the middle of the day on blue/white areas theyāre very obvious. Also sensing no one senses them? At all? Really?
So we call it a plot hole. Theyāre stealthy enough to stab a woman but not stealthy enough to get away. Uh okay
Ravenia we actually explore all of it just like frost bridge, well I guess not the mines but there is a quest too within the story area so I say thatās a middle ground one. Red wake actively tells you to explore through means of the quest. Sailor lodge is explored as itās small, and we explore the areas of fort talos. Sameria we donāt until recently as to get the glider we gotta go to the mountain area so we explore all of it. The nimbus lands sure you could skip the farms and wilderness but thereās a few towns we just never see and thatās an issue and wasted potential. We mainly stick to the castle and the dock city and visit the library twice.
We could see them by merely looking left. Heās a Phoenix user who can grow wings. Fly over blast them while healing your fiance. He can heal we see him do it.
This stuff realisticly can take days, weeks, to months. This stuff isnāt normally done in a day. We should have been up there for like a month. This would actually help irisā story as she would have had a month with the general and team and form meaningful bonds and them dying would have been more tragic to her. It allows character depth and growth but instead itās only a week. Imagine if we were with allahan in his favorite spot as the mage skin disease is clearly effecting him and heās worried that his fiance wonāt make it and he feels powerless to help. But then the people mock her by saying thatās what sea salt deserves.

I do find it interesting on the fact the guards justā¦ stood still and didnāt do anything when Liara got assassinated and didnāt even give chase even after Callahan yelled for them to from my recollection of the cutscene

though there are ways to make it more difficult to get sensed. Doesnāt the stealth talent just let you walk around freely as long as you donāt get seen? + an item that both hides your health and makes it so you are harder to get sensed?)
