Now we have fish that took in a little too much magic energy from the sea!

Can somebody from Patreon ask if the Savant change is the actual imbuement stacking?

I’ve seen people interoperate it as such, but it does not say anywhere that this has been given, just the normal imbues. I think that’s a pretty important clarification— thanks.

Also rip Golden- you made 0 sense, but were really cool. you’ll be missed. (This update is 100% wiping somebodies items/galleons once the switch officially happens)

I like the change to golden things, personally. It’s more immersive this way. I always thought it was weird that magic energy made it that of all colors, especially when it’s also been shown to turn things blue and purple which makes way more sense.

What about Massive fish? I thought those were the juiced up on magic fish. I didn’t know magic energy was the explanation for Golden fish/items (and I don’t think it needed one either). I expect these “Arcane” items to be much more dull and uninteresting than the old Golden variants. At least those were pretty and sparkly and whatnot.

I really want to know how the agility jewel stat will be acquired. What reagent will be used? Will a reagent be re-used and a stat replaced? Will it be rolled into a renamed Climbing Speed?

its an apple that gives the Odyssey buff; truly an awesome reagant.

If it’s a blue-purple gradient it’s going to be prettier, actually. If you need proof of how beautiful that color combo is, just read the arcane adventures webcomic.

The golden modifier looked ugly on a lot of foods because the colors mixed weirdly. I think I’ll probably prefer Arcane in most cases.

no imbue stacking until vimir or something i forgot when 2nd awakening was supposed to be, still though savants getting imbues now is a great change

I was too excited back there… That I didn’t realize that stacking is still reserved for 2nd Awakening, Thanks for the clarification. I’m just glad that Savants is being useful now with their ability to imbue.

Another reason as to why I hope that we’re getting a free magic reset on full release; This change will screw up my savant big-time because it heavily relies on its second magic.

I hope Savants at least regain their second slot at the second awakening, not because I find myself using my second Magic/Fighting Style a lot; rather, because my Magic Savant is meant to feel like an Arcane Adventures file before it broke (Two Source Magics, an AA Fighting Style, and AA Weapons).

Also my forums file is now just Lightning instead of Lightning-Glass.

the whole point of double imbues is to give savant something unique that isn’t just being able to use the level 60 versions of other classes

rather annoyed that I have to wait 9 years before I can try double imbues

Ah well, still worth giving up the second style/magic for non-stacking imbues. Makes savants objectively less trash.

I feel like the problem with this is that savant will be the only class that can’t take advantage of BOTH awakenings. Every other build differentiates the first and second awakenings from each other so they will both have uses (such as a second magic and a third for second awakening)

Meanwhile savant’s second awakening just completely overrides the first

You have to take into consideration that all vetex said is 2nd awakening will let savant multi-imbue.
It could potentially still grant a second magic/fs on top of that.
