ive jumped someone from the lb in 1.13, mosquito thermo build, i got him low and he ran and killed his friend, then that happen again before he manage to kill me, im so glad that a thing now

shadow wasnt weak but it definetly weaker than glass fire and acid

me when i spread misinformation (he thinks professions are coming in this update :skull:) bruh that’s a whole separate update. if professions were getting added we wouldn’t see this update till mid 2026)

They aren’t coming this update (I don’t think) but they would probably be light work
It’s just adding more to cooking brewing ect

fire right now is maybe better than shadow, and acid probably, but GLASS??? I play glass mage and I can assure you it is not peak (love glass tho)

more damage (DOT & synergies)
better clashing
arguably best DOT in the game

I will say it now and nothing will change my mind, clashing has not mattered since WoM
the most common and lowest damage dot in the game???

being common is a buff cuz it synergies with more things

it can literally do almost 20% more damage than shadow

??? what does this even mean

you get cleared by most things, and because so many things apply it, its prone to more buffs and nerfs (and more recently, nerfs)

I forgot where the thing was where I can check the exact damage of stuff, so ill just take your word for this one. still, the speed on shadow more than makes up for having a lackluster status, and the base damage increase being higher is nice too

Fire outclassed glass in nearly every single build the game has to offer

For conjurer, glass is outclassed due to the bleed synergy that fire has, fire’s incredibly strong DOT, and the amazing synergy that fire is provided with a sunken sword(scalding buffs fire damage, burning buffs scald damage AND you can stack the two.

For warlock, fire destroys glass when paired with sailors (same as the conjurer reasoning above). and thermo (double-dot demonbuild). It beats glass out again for ileg (as a result of the bleed syn) and for cfist as well.

For mage, the two are closer, but I would still consider fire to be better due to its superior synergies and size.

The only build I see where fire gets beat would be paladin, since patrimony has a synergy with glass bleed.

And even then it’ll likely get outclassed again upon Full Release, as putting a hard to clear DoT on certain spirit rites (cough cough, spirit rain) will be extremely valuable.

Just had an idea as to why Spirit Weapons aren’t enchantable (yet)
what if Vetex is planning for them to have their own unique set of enchantments?
