This change to uncommon and rare chests is a double-edged sword.
On one side, good modified items will be more readily available, but on the other, making outfits will always require some aspect of luck as the equipment sold by tailor is random. This also makes modified tailor equipment much rarer, greatly hindering the usage of modified items for outfit creation.

It should’ve been armorers. Armorers are the ones that I’d expect players to be asking for help early on.
Also what do Mystic and Legendary chests give?

Removing tailor NPC items cuts a ton of useless cosmetics out of drop pools, especially for final locations or common charts where all the chests are guaranteed uncommon+ (formerly silver)
Finally I’m not going to get Atlantean scarfs and Atlantean large grey cloaks from dark sea chests

huge W, makes farming modifiers somewhat bearable. I’m glad it applies to uncommon and rare chests.
As for farming modified tailor gear, just gotta use Exotic charts and under.
Correction: They are not useless, they’re the only way to have patterns on your otherwise flat and monotone accessories.
