im a bit concerned for how the new crew stuff will affect gameplay but i think its a really unique idea overall, im imagining vetex is planning to do more with it eventually.. This is way out there but I was imagining AO becoming more like Kenshi or something :broken_heart:

Holy crap they were just picking up barrels as they dodged like flies. That seems funny

Anyways, yeah, they’re about the same health as us, and it seems like deckhand loadouts are randomized. It’ll be nice if they had some stuck attributes such as class or choice of weapon/fs/magic.

Also, how does that rope thing activate? Do you just press space mid-air next to a wall and it works?

They should have said stuck attributes, maybe you could give them a scroll to teach them a specific lost fs/magic (same for ancients), but i’m not sure.

Pretty sure they do. One of my Mage’s deckhands has always carried a blunt weapon, such as a Club or Hammer, while another one always has Boxing Gloves.

guess i can probably bet on my alchemist using magma magic then from that one time he randomly started firing

oh yeah, that applies to one of my deckhands (on a file that is ALSO a mage) always kept a greatsword on him no matter what.

So you know how people complain about taking forever to buy and load cargo? Well now they can just get their crew together and buy a bunch of cargo then have their crew carry it.
I realized this before then I forgot
I think I’m just stupid for not realizing it before
