I just… don’t understand psychopaths? Like they sound just… defective to me.
I know thats pretty fucked up to say since I’m essentially calling a living thing inherently broken but like… that’s what they are, that’s why it’s a “disorder”
And I mean, I can be polite or amicable to someone suffering from ASPD, but like, why should I really care for them? They can’t even feel emotion correctly iirc… I guess what I’m trying to say is that how in a videogame if a villain was a psychopath I would feel less bad for killing them? Maybe even enjoy it? That’s good engagement and it’s not unrealistic either
Again I’m not super well knowledgeable with this but from what I’ve seen and encountered with people like this I dunno I think keeping “psychopath” in the game description is fine?

Matey, this is exactly how bigotry of all forms takes shape; people who know little to nothing about a group of people start coming up with ideas about them to explain that group to themself. Those ideas are then passed on from person to person, to the point where the group in question is reduced to a political standpoint.

The main thing here about depressed people is that you aren’t born depressed. Psychopathy is a genetically obtained trait, in other words, they start off life, well, less than ideal. Also, depression is curable with support and care, psycopathy… I don’t think so? Or so I’ve heard that it’s very difficult to deal with.
A depressed person’s mind may be in a poor state, but again, it isn’t hardwired to be that way. I can feel pity for those with symptoms of depression because something in their lives caused them to act that way, but with psychopathy… it’s an entirely… centralized disorder from what I understand. Unlike it’s less severe relative sociopathy, nothing creates psychopaths. They’re just like that, and I think that’s what creeps me out the most about them.
And with the current state of neuroscience, there really isn’t a cure for a psycopath.
It also doesn’t help that criminal data shows how most really messed up people ARE ASPD victims, that’s just facts. Of course that doesn’t mean ALL people with ASPD are bad, but it is what it is.
20% doesn’t sound so bad but in the grand scale of things that could honestly represent thousands of people if not millions

A little different compared to the Kraken we got; not entirely sure if we’ll be able to spot a Kraken before getting into its aggro range, like in this first concept on the Sharks and Sea Monsters card.
Also does anyone else think that the ink that the Kraken uses is more closely-tied to that Oil Lost Magic Vetex mentioned once or twice in Discord? Not sure why else it would slow ships down to a crawl.
