Full Release Update Patch Notes (Discussion Thread) (Part 2)

Fun fact: We get ult spirit blast

would have gotten it to begin with without these changes btw

Oh wait, did I forget? for (crazy) hybrids… also makes me wonder what stat distribution for knights will look like

with how he made it, spirit hybrids will NOT get ult spirit blast on any weapon.
the requirement is a MINIMUM of 220, the max distribution at level 180 (the expected level cap of FR) is 216, and thats not viable.

The optimal setup at level 180 will likely be the same as Paladin and Juggernaut, 160 spirit 200 weapon (magic in the case of pala and strength in the case of jugg)

Wait since when was cgreatsword able to use seismic slash?

That was an issue on my part, check the image again, i was using halbert for both images…Oops

Also c judgement takes 110w/s to be able to be used right now… So it should be the same as a whirlwind as an ult art.

no?
if you put whirlwind and cjudgement on halberd in the exact same slot, whirlwind takes 80, cjudgement takes 110
that does NOT translate into them having the same ult art cost…

No, not really, in case of hybrid weapon, increase is +40/+40.
So 30 req skill goes from 80/80 to 120/120, and 110/110 to 150/150.

Its if we talking about halbert.
C judgment is a “unique skill”, so it keeps its 210 (110/110) as base requerment, with only influence being slot additions (3,4: + 10; 5: +210/+80)

Welp, I will check calculations later then.

isnt ult 210? and also i would disagree for paladin.. im thinking more balanced option closer to (but not) 180 180. For knights im considering how spirit will be treated, whether spirit moves are heavily utilised or are just p much imbues and wtv moves can be used

Wait so…

220 + 70… 290..

290/2… 145…
So ult art for crushing judgement halberd is 145?

Yep.
I need to check myself out now.

Hey, so remember when I was freaking out about the crash rite thingy dealing 343 damage, on a seemingly balanced build ? Get ready for 500 damage, with damage resistance on startup, AoE, and, oh yeah, IT’S A TP MOVE

While we’re on the topic of weapon requirements, does anyone know how the new weapon tier system works after it got revamped in the easter patch? (v1.17.19.6)

How weapon skill works.

There are 2 types of skill. Default and Unique.

Default skilsl have following ‘base requierments’: 30,60,90,120,150.
Unique skills are just ‘set in stone’, say 230 or 100, and those are usualy Q skills of boss or sunkens.

Each slot has different formulas.
For Default Skills its:

  • [WeaponLevel] x 2 + [DefaultSkillRequierment] - 30 // For 1,2 slots
  • [WeaponLevel] x 2 + [DefaultSkillRequierment] - 30 + 10 // For 3,4 slots
  • [WeaponLevel] x 2 + [DefaultSkillRequierment] - 30 + 10 + 200 // For ult

For Unique skills first part is skipped so its:

  • [UniqueSkillRequierment] - 30 // For 1,2 slots
  • [UniqueSkillRequierment] - 30 + 10 // For 3,4 slots
  • [UniqueSkillRequierment] - 30 + 10 + 200 // For ult

And for Strength weapons and other hybrid weapons, we just take that final number from either of formulas, and divide it by 2.

Whirlwind in 4th slot of Sunken Sword.
Its level 50, so “50 x 2 + 30 - 30 + 10 = 110”

How about same whirlwind on halbert?
“(80 x 2 + 30 - 30 + 10) / 2 = 85”

What about unque skills?
Say Rising tide in 5th slot as of current version.
“100 + 200 + 10 = 310”

What about unique skill on hybrid weapon?
Say cjudment on halbert in 1st stot
“(210)/ 2 = 105”

I do not have, or know the formula of spirit weapon, so i cant tell you about that.

i can use ult arts on my atlantean rapier, i will be completed on my warrior build

Old suggestion from the ancient days I worked on.

oh wowza ill look at it later, must be good that the devs would mention it

ahh… i remember that and everyone thought it was peak

I think Galaga or someone commented on it and basically said that we would need more sea monsters before a bounty board for them would be worthwhile.

BUT then land animals got added and I’m thinking we could a monster hunting board in general.
