There’s so much to be said about this video, I’ll make a list
Positives:
- Area looks gorgeous
- New skill tiers look awesome
- Pouches are AWESOME
- Feature’s working as intended
Negatives:
- Area looks great, I don’t want to break it
- So we’re gonna see good rep players tearing down libraries ?
that was in the patch notes

-X Rep
Property Destruction
- Pretend you’re bringing knowledge to the people
- Keep it for yourself
- Profit
Some progress has been made on ultimate arts
Still not a big fan of pouches. They probably would’ve been better as additions instead of a full replacement for the backpack - they just take up more time when you’re trying to grab something you’ll only use once or twice.
The library looks great though, certainly looking forward to visiting upon Full Release.
treasure charts shouldn’t even be items, they don’t even act like items.
I don’t know why they aren’t treated exactly like sea charts. We should just be able to “reveal” them, and simply have the indications show up when you open the map (or in a submenu of said map)
npcs chilling in the library while people destroy bookshelves for tomes

I’m all for the idea of rite tomes but not skill tomes.
Weapons can be bought from NPCs, found in chests, gotten as drops, etc., and they are really not that rare. Within an hour of playing the game, you could get enough generic weapons which you could easily disarm and get a lifetime worth of skill notes.
Spirit weapons, however, are much rarer, and only obtainable from side bosses, and likely minibosses and bosses. Additionally, some generic rites may only be found on exclusive, unique weapons, like Eagle’s patrimony. As such, I think it’s fair that spirit gets a way to replenish them
Although, I think rite tomes should still be chest drops…
0:55 - Acrimony
0:59 - Shark fin
EVEN NOW THERE IS HOPE FOR MAN
“dude i swear theres a book in here that tells me how to make a wall of spirit i just gotta get it… Yes its more indestructable than the rest, thats why I’m burning everything down?— sh.. dude i swear i need it to save skyhall just trust me!”
my only complaint is that spirit tomes are like 1/4 of the tome-pool, which makes them more annoying to get, despite being the ones you’re going to need more of. Idk, they also drop from chests, it probably isn’t that bad.
