I probably should mention that in the Crystal Orb’s showcase, the minion only seemed to be dealing base damage. I’d have to check again to see if that’s truly the case though
I have a question about the Spirit Minion from the Crystal Orb. Can it use any move slotted onto the orb? For example, can I place Spirit Rain onto the Orb and have the minion also use Spirit Rain?
My main concern is how the balance team intends to make that fair to players if I can use the minion to spam additional AoE moves during combat.
No, it only uses Spirit Blast and Spirit Burst, regardless of what moves are slotted onto the orb.
Okay, I like that. I was worried the minion copied the Orb’s slotted moves.
Definitely going to be interesting to see how players use the minion in the future.

spirit drain is a grab
While sure we don’t know the duration of the statuses, I think it’s still likely going to be pretty long especially considering that it’s a skill shot beam. Also, I think 3 blocks is still fine especially with the 30% reduction, since that removes a pretty good chunk of the damage from the higher damage attacks used in builds. It’s definitely not going to be a MAINLY used weapon, but it’s definitely going to have by far the best utility use of the weapons unless tide and/or ember staff are utility based in their skills (which I doubt).
I figured it was going to be, because the name was screaming lifesteal grab to me.
i was going to say Ember Staff has Spirit Flight, but that can probably be put on any spirit weapon so…
