HMMMM maybe instead of Arcanium weapons reducing weapon ability costs by splitting skill point reqs they reduce certain spell ability costs instead :thinking:

As a weapon enjoyer, this does NOT confuse me.
Five strength weapons is very little when you realize theres 18 weapon types with a minimum of three in each category, sometimes more when accounting for variants and boss drops / just having more.
“Knight content” doesn’t exist just like Conjurer content, unless Delamere’s sword requires both Spirit and Weapons to use, which i doubt it does.

Five strength weapons is a ton when compared to the grand total of

That’s a good point, and I can agree with that
Though, when typing the post the “knight content” I was thinking of was just spirit-related content as a whole considering the fact that knight has been suffering from the lack of spirit content the most out of all of the spirit hybrids, so basically anything would have been great for it

You also have to consider that the three ingame currently… aren’t that viable at all.
The Halberd is too sluggishly slow, being easily punished due to the massive endlag ANY skill it uses has.
The Greatsword suffers the same issue, not to the same degree, but its one strong point (Colossal Cleave) is a worse Pulsar that rarely gets good damage out.
The Lance, while having access to Piercing Strikes and Shining Cycle… is practically useless, as there are better grabs (cough cough, rushdown), and while Shining Cycle is fast, it deals low damage.
And if you put Raging Impact or Devastate on it… just don’t you’d be better off using those on the Halberd or Greatsword.

Knight got 3 slots for both weapon types, big enough win for me especially when they now have weapons to put in those slots.

I’m still not even sure if we need Knight exclusive weapons because of Spirit slots being separate.

Viability has nothing to do with the simple fact that it’s just more options. The fact that you can put the Vindicator’s move (forgot the name) on the Halberd and access it as a Warlord among many other things while Conjurer and soon Knight will have nothing exclusive or to help them access stuff from their pure classes is just unbalanced. One of the three weapon hybrid classes has considerably more options when buildcrafting regardless of metamancing

vetex seems to want strength weapons to be literally unusable it seems

all synergies with fire and ash removed and all players of fire ash mage are condemned to taking a shower

the nerf was only -10 damage

yea you need level 200
the 60/40 split at that level is 240 160 on the dot

Tell that to the three conjurer players who have dmed me nonstop since I got tester about how the class is the worst in the game and has 0 content and will never get content and that vetex is stinky and the worst dev because of it.

Yeah it’s definitely one of the top builds (it always has been super good at the very least), and I think it’s gonna get more than enough in the coming update with both magic and weapon skill additions.

it’s good, it’s flashy, it’s stylish
but it still hurts watching mages and warriors get pure build content and warlords getting strength weapons while conjurer weapons still aren’t confirmed :fr:

can’t blame a guy for getting a wee bit envious when the only new conjurer content in 2 years is blast but go thru wall

Knights also in the similar boat, but they’ll have so many synergy options to have fun with, even if they arent as good as a base magic.
