Honestly I think they picked the worst time to release it
The reason the white eyes plushie did so well (300% funded) was because it came out soon after the empires update
We are currently in the biggest content drought of the games history due to waiting for full release and most of the community are hibernating. I think they should have waited till full release
Or maybe I’m doom posting and it’ll get funded idk

Yeah I agree here. First off to say is that it was a white eyes plushie and sharks just sell well for reasons I mean look at Blahaj from Ikea. Second is that maybe they didn’t have a choice and it was already in the works for something else, maybe they had it brewing and wanted it at an earlier time but it took too long. Third is that it’s most likely there to give something for the community to talk about in said drought. All in all I don’t think it was entirely their decision but if so and assuming they could’ve held it then it would’ve been better to release it then, I mean full release is an absolutely COLOSSAL update so they would’ve def made the funding there because most likely people forgot about AO right now or aren’t keeping up to date with it due to the content drought. All in all either: Wasn’t their choice or it was poor timing

Honestly was never that hard for me to max out all my deckhands in the past so it should be fun getting to build up a maxed out fleet. Hopefully conquest will have worthwhile returns and it won’t be like 1 dark sealed chest every half hour for a single fleet ship. The books used to rank them up need to be more easily obtainable though.
