Oh, thought the Brig was the penultimate or antepenultimate of linear ship progression (meaning onwards, each ship is no direct upgrade and has their ups and downs equally). Or will the next few ships still act better but just not have their speed be greater?
the way i see it, the Frigate should be the last ship thats a straight upgrade from a previous one, having the same speed as the Brig, but more health and firepower.
the Galleon and onward should be side-grades.

precisely the same issues i ran into trying to make this module work
was hoping vetex found a solution for it but apparently not
big ships heavier - slower but have more like energy producing - faster so maybe they cancel each other out and balance?
I lowkey want ships to be specialized in smth.
Like, before brig, you used caravel for fights and ketch for cargo and speed. But now? Brig, brig, brig.
Hope that future ship will make us choose more
Yeah I kinda wished that there would in the future be ships with higher speed but less turning or health or whatever
Hopefully the upcoming boats won’t just be larger wooden boxes with more and more cannons, I want a small one that is very fast

Vetex has stated that no ship will exceed 75 base speed.

I think each boat should have only one sail slot but it should give better stats on bigger ships since they have more sails
